The Water Substitution Technique is a Water Mastery Technique, allowing its caster to swap places with a water clone to evade an enemy attack, after which they re-appear in the enemy's blind spot. The preparation stage lasts for 7 seconds, but as the user becomes more proficient with the technique, this will become 8 seconds. In the event the caster remains unharmed during this stage, the clone will dissipate. This technique requires the user to:

• have the Water Mastery
• have a minimum of 40 intellect
• have a level of 25 or above
