  1. Haha, no problem, no problem. It's understandable. More on topic, though, I honestly don't think this is acceptable. Samsung had to put up with this stuff, and everything Apple threw at them, and when Apple gets cornered, they get "bailed out" by the government.
  2. A veto is when you reject a proposal.
  3. Moved from Naruto > Anime to Chit-Chat as it's a more appropriate forum for this kind of threads. Feng is a Chinese indie game developer, I followed this project a while ago, but I'm pretty sure translations are added now. It's not really advertising in my eyes, hence I won't take action against it.
  4. I actually download anime and manga from Nyaa.eu and Bakabt.me so I can watch/read them without requiring internet connection or when I'm on the go. and because it's much higher quality
  5. Locked upon request. You can find the merged guide here:
  6. Additionally, here's the link to the FAQ (Also listed in that page, but is easy to miss.) http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-dec980f6deabdb11b789c981bf49e10e70929eaf
  7. Did a quick look around, try this. http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-972939.html
  8. No offense taken It also says this: In modern Japanese slang, the term otaku is most often equivalent to "geek".[4] However, it can relate to a fan of any particular theme, topic, hobby or any form of entertainment.[5] I guess we're all a bit right, I've been to Japan a couple of times so I've seen it used a couple of times but I can't say I'm a professional >?<
  9. It looks good to me, the thumbnails are made smaller, and if you click on them you can see them at their actual sizes. Perhaps that's why you're confused? :3
  10. @ That's what I meant ^^ It's kinda like how some people also think "geeks" or whatever the word used for it do dirty stuff like that.
  11. That's true, they usually have 1600x900 now don't they? It's been a long time since I used one
  12. This might sound rather mean, but 1920x1080 monitors are pretty much standard nowadays.
  13. Try to either hide or move your taskbar. If that doesn't work, please wait patiently until the next update. Whack has confirmed that it will be fixed in the next one.
  14. Otaku is a Japanese word for teens who are very good or obsessed with computers, often lowering their social skills. It's the equivalent of Geek. I think the term you mean is weeaboo? EDIT: You're right, though, it's geek, but it's still not very wise to go around saying that you're an Otaku in Japanese (It's considered bad just like geek is considered bad in western countries, but worse.) It doesn't really mean what you said for everyone, but let's say people will think weird of you.
  15. I fear the thread has been deleted, but earlier someone had the same problem and was trying to register with a .com.edu email address. I believe that the only email addresses they support are .com .net and .org, but there might be more. Whack posted something along these lines in that thread.
  16. I suppose that's true. I'll just post this whenever I see something like it in the chatbox until it stops though ^^
  17. Read the messages the game gives you, you mean?
  18. Hello, I noticed a lot of "Is the server up?" and "Is the server down?" in the shoutbox. I'm not even sure why I'm writing this right now, but it's just a little something that bothers me. I hope that in the future there will be some tool on the forum to see the server status. There's a very simple answer for it, and it might seem rude, but please, Check for yourself, it is much faster and efficient than asking it in the shoutbox. I can understand confusion if people can't connect but others can, so I'll try my best to explain a few situations. 0.5 The server status There is now a handy tool that shows the server status. It can be found under Portal. 1. The loading screen. If this is the screen you are getting, this means that the server is online and you are loading the map. If you seem to be stuck on here, please just let it load for a few minutes. If after a while (Say 5 minutes), it still doesn't load, feel free to restart your client. Do not restart because the circle stopped spinning, this means it's at the final loading stage. Server status: Online 2. "The server seems to be down" Not much to say here, other than that the server seems to be down. This doesn't mean you can't reach the server, this means the servers are actually down. Server status: Down. 3. Version outdated / "If you are reading this" This screen means you are either using an outdated version (I reinstalled with the old client and got this message), or something went wrong during installation. Uninstall your version and get the new installer from either here or here. Once that is done, try again with the new version.
  19. Basically you have two numbers (ints), and one decimal number (double). What we do is we divide the EXP by the amount of people with the help of the double. The reason we don't use an int for this is because those will never ever have decimals, so if a mob would grant 50 EXP, and there's 3 people hitting it, the formula would be 50/3 = 16,6 = 16 (ints don't round, they simply remove everything after the decimal). Now, that wouldn't be fair because three people are missing out on some exp they would normally get. If a double is used, it'll remain 16.6
  20. Well I don't know the code, but I know that before you code you need to see how you're going to do it. Something like, you make an int for the different characters who hit it, every time a new one hits it it goes i++. So you'd have three vars for this, int A (player amount) int B (EXP) and double C (Division). Say there's two people hitting it, and you get 50 exp per mob, it would look something like this: int A, B; double C; A = 2; B = 50; C = (double) B / A; You just reward the people with C and that should work. Feel free to correct me though
  21. As long as this list doesn't turn the community against each other I'm fine with it. Let's hope they don't take it serious >?<
  22. Hahaha yes! I never thought of that but the pieces fit ^^
  23. I agree with this. They probably just never showed it because it might offend
  24. I was planning to use this to make the GUI and player disappear so I could make screenshots of Konoha and puzzle all the pieces together to make a huge map, but eventuslly decided it that although it would be cool, it wouldn't be worth the effort of capturing 100+ screenshots and puzzling.
