Cant Fish, I hear the sound for it but cant see the animation or pull the rod

Deep Purple posted an issue in Active

The rod goes out and everything but I only hear the "!" sound but I don't see the symbol nor can I press space to interact/tug. I've tried relogging a few times and tried fishing in different areas but nothing worked. I would like to fish again so I can buy my jutsu scrolls, as low level it helps alot my friend gave me the rod and I cant use it at all
