  1. Neo-Akatsuki recruitment is open. We're prioritising XXX/Earth and XXX/Medic builds at the moment however you may still be considered without these. [EDIT]: Recruitment has been closed
  2. This is meant to show the community what it's like to be part of the akatsuki. And we are chill and cool guys outside of the roleplay. Rest assured, dark edgy roleplay akatsuki videos will also be out soon !
  3. The new term begins ! I really wanted this generation of Akatsuki to feel special, and with the release of a ton of new content as well as a new client, I wanted to release a new video themed as an anime opening. Enjoy !
  4. I think chokes would be fine if there were maps to get around it and flank, but we've talked about that in the mapswap mechanic topic IMO the problem here is not the choke, it's the fact that it's literally the only way into mini
  5. which maps are you referring to? no map in the game currently takes less than 5 seconds to traverse (except buildings)
  6. The full suggestion is to add more immunity on mapswap AND add a timer before you can swap maps again
  7. I LOVE THIS IDEA Maybe a scheduled 1 hour of the day where all DZ's become WZ. This would even encourage smaller groups or more advanced teamplay
  8. I think this is more reasonable than my 5 seconds suggestion, people with low end PC's would suffer, but as mentioned before it would be a band-aid fix until more maps are introduced. It should also include a timer where you cannot leave the same map though, otherwise mapswap can be abused
  9. Recruitment is now closed for the time being.
  10. I literally made 2 suggestions... Anyway to seriously reply to your post, I'm going to emphasise the words Ninja game. Nowhere in the word ninja (even armies of ninjas) do you have a large visible group gathered at a single point for a fight (do not send me links to the madara fight). Ninjas are meant to be stealthy. If you have a scout who runs into a large map, it would force the players to play further back, hidden or allow enemies to come into the map. I never said these were perfect solutions, but thanks for your reply I guess
  11. Now the problem with this is I don't think I can offer a viable solution. I can think of some things that would help IMO, and I'll list them in order of most viable to least viable. Possible solutions (Most viable listed first) Remove all corridors from DZ maps: Just add more maps that allow multiple routes into different locations of the general map. This would mean camping one side (unless your scouts have done a really good job) will not be viable as you could always be jumped. Remove free map swap + Add invulnerability: I know there were invulnerability frames when you swapped before and this change was reverted (or so I was told). My suggestion is you get 5 seconds of invulnerability once you get into the map, but you cannot cast jutsu. (I don't like this solution, it feels really botched and unfluid, but I can think of nothing else apart from the point mentioned above). Let me know what you guys think.
  12. This has been troubling me since I started playing this game. I think the mechanic of mapswap is too strong and efficient that it leads to being the most relied on tactic for pretty much any group larger than 4 people. This causes a huge stalemate between groups and due to the amount of corridors (choke points in the DZ which block entry to other maps, e.g. KB is a corridor to sand. You cannot leave sand without going through that map) in the DZ. The problem: Currently the best viable tactic for large fights is to camp a mapswap Reasons why: DZ has too many corridors: access to different parts of the map can be completely blocked off by camping one single map. There is no other way enemies could come from, leaving them nowhere to go. Loading times: Even with a great pc and good ping, the loading times for mapswap is enough to lose majority of your hp and get CC locked Crashing on map swap: Worthy of mention. After testing, if you are partied up with players, your likelyhood of crashing (especially onto populated maps) is significant, putting you at an instant GG Instant vulnerability on swap: AOE jutsus are WAY too effective and efficient on mapswaps Examples: 90% of fights in DZ between large village/rogue groups
  13. worlds first babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  14. I actually have no problem with the leaf boss, I know you said this is a joke but I'll reply anyway since I'm secretly a forum warrior :p. I'll repeat for a third time that I don't want to take the boss away from sand, I am simply saying it's too close to their village and it has some other problems as mentioned in the first part of this post.
  15. While this seems to be the case on paper, in reality it hardly is. Because of the target system and being outnumbered so heavily as well as Sand players being able to BI warrior because of the distance from the village. If you have fought outnumbered in the WZ (I have done so many many times) you will know this is not the case.
  16. You have to realise the point of this post is not to take the boss away from sand. I am not suggesting moving it to a map far into the DZ, just one a bit further from sand players (Big desert or coyotes as mentioned before). As a sand player, you have bias towards this topic but I'm asking if you can look at the points I've made objectively.
  17. Rat boss is not a fair argument IMO because the rat mobs drop the twin fangs too. Rat boss drop rate for twins is only slightly higher and that boss is not farmed for its drops, the rats are. Also on your point about bringing an army, even an army can't survive being flanked / bi warriored for up to 59 minutes. This is what I want to highlight that bringing an entire army for 1 kill of the weasel when sand can farm it on command is not something I think is fair. I also have no problem of the boss being in the sand maps, however I think warzone is just too close to sand to offer a fair gameplay to anyone trying to farm it. Move it to coyotes or big desert IMO
  18. Just want to make it clear, I'm not complaining at all about new content being added to the game, I just have a few issues with content that is gated so heavily towards sand. The problem: The new dark weasel boss is basically only farmable by sand players Reasons why: Boss spawn timer: Because of the large 1 hour timer, players who are not sand (yes I know for a fact they have it on a timer) have no way of knowing once they enter warzone, when it will spawn. This means you will have to stay in a very dangerous map that sand players pass through frequently for up to 59 minutes. Boss spawn location: Sand warzone is 3 map switches (and not too much running distance) from sand. This means if you are scouted there, it is extremely easy for sand players to respond (not to mention the boss takes a significant amount of time to kill without a large team). You can literally be BI warriored while doing the boss. Compare this to any other boss (mist kuraken being 7 map swaps and a significant running distance to farm). Boss map: This map offers little to no opportunity for counterplay. Compare this to any other map that drops significant sword items (Rat sewers in leaf, mist kuraken map, host cave) I personally think the boss should be moved to a different map further from sand territory with a reduced spawn timer. Considering this is new content, the drop will be one of the swords that is used more than others, and the fact that currently Sand players basically have the monopoly on this item (when it drops + all future drops at this rate) is not something that I think is fair. Let me know what you guys think.

  20. Akatsuki cave is where the Neo-Akatsuki spend a lot of time training. My suggestion is that the armoury box used to buy robes should also sell tools at normal shop prices. This would make it much easier for our events / sparring sessions. Tool prices would not even need to be discounted and could simply be added to the same vendor that sells the Akatsuki cloak. Please add this quality of life upgrade.
  21. As the economy of nin has grown, farming jobs are unnecessary as any item can be bought through the trade channel in discord pretty easily. I want to stress the jobs we currently have and give them emphasis.
  22. Akatsuki Hire/Jobs Akatsuki can be hired for jobs. There are 3 main services - Assassination, Protection and Kill on sight It is up to the Akatsuki member who has been paid to do his job. He can request help from other Akatsuki members as he sees fit. The amount of money requested is up to the Akatsuki member, however here is an average price list: Assassination - 600-2k ryo depending on the target (average 900 ryo with +100 ryo payment for a personalised message on kill) Protection - 1k-2k /15 minutes of protection (Depends on the situation) Kill on sight - 3k/15 minutes 5k/30 minutes 7k+/hour+ (For kill on sight, 15 minutes is recommended and will result in Akatsuki being present in multiple locations for the kill. These prices are high on purpose as the service is difficult to execute. You can expect between 3-5 kills in 15 minutes) Majority of the time the target will know before he is killed about the Akatsuki mission (unless masked, afk, offline, etc). This is to make the missions more fun for all parties. Clients will always be kept anonymous unless they specifically ask not to be.
