Nik, a Prince and shinobi born in the Village Hidden in the Sand to the wife of the Dyan the 8th Kazekage is now a rogue shinobi who spends most of his time studying bears, snakes and cursed hosts. A master of the elemental chakra nature Earth and skilled in the art of Medical Combat prowess, Nik seeks to study other elemental chakra natures as well as other means of fighting in order to become the King of his village. At least, that was his original goal until he realized his entire village is nothing but a puppet show. The Sand Village absolutely disgusts him, and the only reason he likes being there is to study the animals and creatures that live around the territory.

Currently under the impression that he can study eternal life through the secrets of the caves deep inside the dark forests, he spends most of his time there, studying and killing endless waves of bears, spiders, cursed hosts, snakes and snow wolves. He gathers materials from the corpses of the animals and creatures he kills, gathering chakra from it. Recently he found a scripture from a certain legendary rogue leaf shinobi. In the scripture, the unnamed ninja wrote about his scientific experiment and about how it allowed human DNA to cross with other creatures and DNA through chakra. Prince Nik sought to further the research on this experiment.

Driven mad by his research, Prince Nik went berserk. Sculpting through the caves of the Cursed Hosts, killing one after another as they suddenly appeared to him made him paranoid, and the lack of food didn't help. He had discovered an ancient chest buried deep within the cave. A shiny crimson jewel, an amulet with ominous chakra seeping out of it. He put the necklace on, and started burning. He had blacked out.
