^pro. using anti aliasing on bases is unadvised tho. besides being too small, the background is mobile, making it hard to blend in.

kinda hard to go wrong with a good base. try iconning for NBOLTS. 1 pixel wrong and your eyes are glued together with your ass

yeh, it's sorta natural. i've started by posting my work on random forums and asking for advice. don't worry about the aesthetics for now. it'll improve as your technique improves ask for pixeling programs, animation programs, vectors, isometrics, etc. watching rory's streams works as well :|

looks bettah -try picturing his head as a circle and draw hair spikes on it. the way it's now looks more like a super sayan with the lateral spikes pointing upwards. -you made his beer belly straight. lol good. now try to get rid of it. in the 3/4 perspectve, the lower part of the base isn't supposed to be brighter than the upper part. brighter parts usually indicate something that is popping out. in this case, it's his belly. sorry for being an ass
