Botting on it'sits own does not cause the downfall of games. Like everything else in the world, too much of anything is bad for you. BYOND supports far larger than 32x32, and over 100 layers, you are comparing apples to bananas. The mapping looks pretty good though. But since you feel the need to compare Ninonline to BYOND games so often, I too have coded a real-life time feature in DM that worked flawlessly and efficiently, no lag.

From what I've been told, the game will use your forum name as your character name. A lot of people don't have the same forum name as their intended character and name changes are disabled at the moment. So that brings up the question, will people be given a chance to change forum names at the "real" launch, or is it going to cost people $20 to pick a character name?

Likewise, I respect someone who can take blunt opinions without throwing a hissy fit, so I'm willing to help you out. Don't start with "This Vance fellow has a terrible life", get rid of it because it spoils almost the entire thing. In the end you want people to sum it up for themselves "Wow, Vance's life sucks" rather than flat out saying it in the story. He's being chased by the Six Paths, that's fine, but why? Nobody chases people without a motive. Before you want to say people are chasing someone, you want to start with what makes Vance unique. There's obviously something about Vance that the Six Paths don't have, and want from him. What's driving them to chase him? Motive is one thing, application is another. Ok guys, so we caught Vance because he.....something...now what are we going to do with that something? Vance is getting chased by a SECOND group. Clearly there is something about him that makes this second group want him. Could it be the same reason the first group is chasing him, or something entirely different? What about the relation between the two groups? So Vance has no family, is a social-retard, and his best friend betrays him. Does he have no family because of this unique trait that apparently everyone is after? Is his social-retardism a side effect of the unique trait? Why is him being a social-retard relevant at all? Does his friend betray him to one of the groups? Or does his friend have his own motives and pulls an M Night Shamalamadingdong, revealing those motives?

This is to hopefully lower the amount of spam being sent into the shoutbox. If you notice that your screen isn't showing the entire game, particularly the very bottom, that's because your resolution is too small. If you're not able to increase the screen resolution on your computer, then that means your hardware does not support a higher resolution. If that's the case, there is nothing you can do about it but wait for newer resolutions to be implemented. The game runs at a static 1024 x 768 resolution 1024 being X(Horizontal) 768 being Y(vertical) The game screen itself is 1024 x 768, but because it's running in a window as opposed to full screen(which it can't do because it hasn't been implemented) it creates a border around game which causes it to be pushed down a bit. That border is part of the reason why the bottom of your screen is getting cut off. Again, there is nothing you can do about it but wait for newer resolutions to be implemented.

That's incredibly easy to code. That allows people to just run up to every mob, hit it once, and then run away until someone else kills it. They won't get the drops but they'd get the xp.

Also by skipping the updater you won't receive new updates. I'd imagine that in the future, the game version will be checked before connecting to the server.
