Yamano

The origin

Yamano Nobu was born into a rich family, in a village where rich people were could do anything they wanted. He was a witness to the poverty and despair of hundreds of people, but his parents corrupted by money told him not to care about the fate of others. Shortly after he started to learn at school, his problems began. Quarrels and brawls became his school everyday life. All these situations were silenced by his wealthy parents. It lasted until one day. One of his victims decided to fight back, and he ended up in a hospital. He woke up, surprised by the outcome of the battle. His parents finally had to talk with him seriously, but it was too late for major changes. He resisted everything they said.

Yamano: "So, now you are pretending these weaklings? Stop it now."

Yamano's dad: "Listen for once! This time you ended here, but it could be much worse! We may not be the best parents in the world, but we can't look any more on how our son goes downhill. It's time for you to..."

Yamano: "Caring about others holds you down. Go forward... Don't you remember those words? That's what you've taught me, and i'm really thankful, but I see that you have also become infected. It's good that I know the perfect solution."

As soon as he said that, he got up. With his lifeless gaze, he ran out of the hospital room. His parents were confused about what just happened, they couldn't do anything to stop him. Nobody in the village was able to find him. And just like that, 15 year old Yamano disappeared...

The Empty Duo

During his absence, Yamano met Daichi Hirosawa and presented him his philosophy. Daichi was impressed and asked if he could accompany him. After several attempts, Yamano agreed, and they training began.

Daichi: "Look! I made badges for us."

Yamano: "For what?"

Daichi: "As a souvenir of our meeting."

Yamano: "I won't take it. Remember about what I told you."

Daichi: "Whatever..."

2 years after Yamano's departure he appeared in the village, in the company of Daichi. They started stealing everything and atacking everyone in their way.

Vicitm: "Why are you doing this ?!?"

Daichi: "We're just killing time."

They were called empty duo by the villagers. Best village warriors had to stop them before whole village turned into pile of rubble. The great battle began. Yamano and Daichi were force to escape, but just after they thought they were safe, somebody attacked from hiding and stabbed daichi. Yamano ran, carrying Daichi in his hands. Wound was too big, and Yamano was't able to do anything to help him.

Dacihi: "You know... Maybe that isn't right. Even when we tried to not cary about anything, we ended up here, saying farewell."

Yamano: "It's not true."

Daichi: "Then why are you here? Why were you trying to save me?"

Yamano:"I..."

Daichi: "We wanted to be strong. We didn't have anything to lose, anything to protect, anything to care about and it didn't work. So now, you can have a real reason to be strong. Take my brother with you, and protect him. Do not let him make the same mistake as we did. Promise me."

Yamano:"...Are you sure? You know how I am."

Daichi:"I know, but i know there is something, that even you can't understand."

Yamano:"I'll try..."

Yamano wanted to leave this place, but Daichi spoke to him for the last time.

Daichi:"Please, take this... it will remind you of our promise..."

Daichi gave Yamano his old badge. Something changed in Yamano. His head was full of thoughts which he could not ignore. For the first time in a long time, he began to cry. Soon, he found Daichi's brother, and started new life with new goals.
