Seth and Abhi's Development Log #5 Bank and Right Click Menu Introduction We're working on many new updates for the next alpha, but our first reveal is the Bank System and the addition of the Right Click Menu. The Right Click Menu is a way to drop or use an item with a new part of the interface rather than just the mouse. Instead of this, you are being given the choice what to do by being able to select what you want to do with the item. Demonstrations The below illustrations showcase both the Right Click Menu and the Bank System. The Right Click Menu The Bank Right Click Menu This system will be applied to all items in the game, you just have to right click them to utilize it. As many of our testers may know, this system is also available when right clicking players. We plan to add more support for these type of interactions to make the experience as simplistic as possible for new players to pickup. There may eventually be support added for Jutsus/items on the map as well. Bank This system is useful for storing your prized possessions that you wish to keep but not inside of your inventory. Essentially, you will be given a set amount of storage spaces in your Bank. Items that are stackable which show a number next to them will all go in one slot, whereas items like equipment will take up one slot for each unique one. For example, if an item is identical to another it will use the same slot, but if it has different stats on it then it will use multiple ones. More information about the Bank will be provided in a later Development Log.

We went ahead and changed it back in the latest developer build. This poll is now being closed.

We did research and understood, but when a new technology comes along that is more efficient to use do you keep going down the longer road? No. Visual Basic 6 engine was never meant to use as the engine for release. It was for prototyping the game out. We only switched engines once so far in reality.
-
Unity would of taken us longer and was never officially announced. We just mentioned it was a possible plan that we were seeking to go with to address our current engine. We haven't changed focus at all about the game, we just found a better solution which is a very new technology. It isn't indecision at all.

We follow the format cause that is why most people are here, because it is inspired from Naruto. Elements are more than five, these are just the five base ones that the others can combine from.

It's what the community wants not what we want. Rory mentioned that people were upset about this, so we decided to poll it to find out if it was a good change to the game. I'm all about being original, can't stand cloning something and not putting my own twist to it, but people usually hate change got to accept that. I feel that the design is better, but people just like what they are familiar with.
-
This poll was due to the elements system change several months ago not something just happening now.
-
This poll is about whether we should use the elements system from the traditional Naruto one or swap the Earth and Lightning to be more realistic. You will be able to do everything you want to in the game with either approach, the main difference is that spells like Chidori will be a hybrid element rather than just being lightning. Old New

No, it isn't about money. This is a large process of what we want to do, and by restarting with a new engine we can achieve what we always wanted in half the time it would of taken in our current engine.

I picked the top 20 spoken languages, unless Turkish makes up more than 10% of our community a translation will not be done anyway. I am also limited to 20 options per poll.
-
English isn't the most spoken language. It is just the language used most in the economy.

Asus ux302LG. I got it directly from Rory.

Not sure, you'll need to contact Google support. You don't have to use the Google Wallet application, it just makes it easier to pay for things on the go. All you do is add credit to your account and pay for merchandise in our store.
-
New Payment Gateway We've added Google Wallet to our accepted payments. The next payment method we are working toward is PaySafeCard, and we will be getting other payment gateways in the future as well. Credit If you did not receive your bonus credit, you bought it before we implemented Nexus. I need to manually verify you, and in order to claim this you need to ask for it. It can be now or in a week (try not to do it longer than 3 months), but I will not notify people that they have not claimed their veteran reward.

That's fine. It would be good to have two translators to check each other's work to make sure it makes sense and matches what the game is trying to say in English.
-
We're really interested in translating to Spanish, when we get content finalized you're welcome to apply - just remain active here.
-
Active right now until Tuesday.

It lasts until Tuesday.

The people that bought the voucher are granted 50% of that value back in their account. All accounts have been updated with the new credit amount they should have.

The patch is now live.

Equipment in alpha will be a lot different from release, we're releasing content as we make it. For example, once we have more items there will be more to say is better or requires a higher level to use.

Seth's Development Log #3 Maintenance Mode and Content Expansion Introduction There's some changes coming to the game that we're revealing early. Basically, we have made a lot of changes to shops, added more items, a new arena area, and an authentication server maintenance mode. Shop Improvements We have added the ability to have multiple prices for items, this means we can have upgradeable items where the store will accept an existing item you already have and a currency item. Shops also use the price of the item directly rather than a value that is assigned by a developer, this will reduce redundancy and allow for a more consistent game economy. Maintenance Mode We've added a new mode to the authentication server that will prevent non-Admins from logging in when it is enabled. This is to reduce confusion with upcoming updates coming to the game. Will display an error message saying that the server is under maintenance. It will help lessen the strain on developers and increase capabilities with debugging the game New Items New Area The Forest of Death Arena is a PvP location that will teleport players to the entrance when they are killed. The entrance is a temporary location.

English has so may rules and exceptions, I believe it is one of the hardest to learn. We could add in an in-game translator tool, but that reminds me of a wiki sort of. People could cause damage to the game as well...
-
I put English up there cause people may feel left out, and the fact that we can see the percent difference between English vs. other languages.
