Yes, and we had an open alpha that you missed. The game is still in heavy development, this isn't simple game and a cookie cutter like the other Eclipse games. The game will be done when it is done. We're not going anywhere, but life happens and there's only so much time we can dedicate to it.

Dear Ninja, We are setting the date for Open Alpha 3 as TBD, this means that we do not have an estimated date for the test. We apologize for the delays and not announcing it earlier, but unexpected things happened that we did not expect. @Rory has been in the military as many of you know, but he was unable to return home when he thought, and is still in active training. He has very little access to a computer and even the Internet most of the time due to bad signals while in the army, so he can't work on the game at this time. It is expected around 2 weeks of time to finish up what we need done, but we must wait for him to come back before we can finish. Even though I have been programming despite this, we lack the necessary content planned for this test. Thanks, Seth

Introduction We've got a lot of people asking if the game is online, so I've decided to make a topic about it to handle any questions people have about it. Status The state of the game can be found by looking at the sidebar of the forum which will display if it is online, offline, available to a specific group of people, or under maintenance. Online & Offline This means the game server is online (playable for everyone) or offline (everyone including staff). Gold & Silver Ninja Only Only select members may login which have the usergroup Gold Ninja or Silver Ninja. Early Access Only Only select members may login which have the usergroup Early Access. Maintenance If the game is under maintenance, you may not login and is only available to the staff of the game. Disclaimer The game is under development and is not done. This means that it is not ready to play, and this status will change over time which means check the announcements regularly. You can do this most effectively by following the forum Announcements which you will get an email when a new post has been made, or you can follow us on one of our social media platforms. We will announce any new changes such as if the game enters Alpha, Beta, or Release. If you are wondering what state the game is in, just check the last announcement posted concerning the tests. After release, maintenance will mean we are prepping for updates.

You need to use this key `. We will add rebinding later, for now we just are worrying about the basics. The reason why it isn't Shift + Tab, is because Shift is the run trigger and will cause incompatibility issues with the input.

The problem with double pressing, is that the client will have to wait before sending to verify that you aren't double pressing. Although, we will look into it later down the road.

Introduction When you become a Gold Ninja or Silver Ninja, you will be given a wide variety of perks that will benefit you both in-game and on the website. You can become one by purchasing it. Both 1 Display Name changes per year. Game Special name and chat color. Website Profile Backgrounds and Songs. Badge which displays on your forum profile, threads, and posts. 500 MB upload limit instead of 5. Gallery able to create custom albums and higher upload limit. Unlimited personal messages rather than 500. Access to the Ninja Hideout forum that has special announcements that are not publicly made available. Cash Shop 10% discount in the Cash Shop. This is a one time payment and lasts forever.

@Rory lives across the world from most of the people who play the game, so we need to set the times based around his convenience due to being in the army and having limited time.

We have mouse controls coming soon (already have mouse movement) and gamepad early beta.

We may make your forum display name be a global name that players can use to add you as a friend and such, without having to add each of your characters. Also, we do plan to have multiple characters eventually per account, and if you do change your forum display name then any of your friends will have it changed as well (display your display name history or something).

Exactly. @ had that problem, made me think about doing it then I had my alt character run into that problem while testing, so I decided to change it.

I've added where you can change your display name for normal users once per month and increased Gold Ninja and Silver Ninja to 3 times per month.

Chakra stat increases your pool of Chakra. Medical Jutsus will be boosted in effectiveness based upon Intellect, but Chakra stat will be needed to cast Jutsus longer which is necessary for long battles. With the implementation of charging Chakra, we may change this to make Chakra stat (Spirit) boost the effectiveness of Medical Jutsus.

Yes that is true. Although, we are going to make people who have got into a test before less likely to do so again.

Open Alpha 3 is a week or so after Closed Alpha 3 which is after Friends and Family Closed Alpha 3.

If you would of read the Closed Alpha Friends and Family Testing, you would of noticed that we wipe after each of those tests, so we would wipe on all Closed Alpha Tests as well. That's why we have the Open Alpha starting with the Chuunin Exam. These little details do not matter that much for us to unveil, it is really a game that is hugely a work in progress (players shouldn't care that much if they are wiped or not). In the end, it doesn't matter if we don't wipe since the game is very small and people will not be stronger than you. You simply just have to level up which doesn't even take that long. There's no need to give dates of how long the test will be, it can vary since this is an Alpha.

Open Alpha 3 is after Closed Alpha 3 within 1 week.

No, we said the test would be July 31st, it is just a safety reminder for people who may have scheduled to take off on that day. Some people want to experience it as soon as possible.

Nin Online used to use those runtimes maybe, but I made our own runtimes using Inno Setup.
