There's no launch today, the game server is still under maintenance. Too many issues arose, we decided to switch to JSON form SQL last minute, but it is not working properly either

We've added new Server images and fixed issues with arrow keys in the latest client. The server is coming back up soon, had a few major bugs.

Dear Ninja, More improvements to the game, this is the biggest patch since Open Alpha launch. Fixed a bug with leveling up Jutsus just by casting them such as projectiles or casting them on a player or friendly NPC.Improved performance for saving players and optimizations to reduce relog time.You can no longer log-in while your account is saving.You can log-in now while you are still logged in, but if you select a different server it will say you are still logged in.Any old existing saves will be purged when a new one is sent to save by the game server.Rollback issues resolved.Removed PvP Timer for map transfers.Improvements to Authentication Server queuing for social media login.Added new staff ranks and Moderator to the authentication server with different name colors and permission sets.Name color adjustments for many ranks and Ninja Killer is easier to see. It uses the same RGB as Chat. Bug fix with various paperdoll items showing hair when facing up.Max level Jutsus no longer gain experience under rare circumstances.Healing Jutsus can now level up. They must be casted on a player that has damaged health and will gain experience per tick.Fixed a bug where pressing Alt (self cast) would display the target blip over your character.Fixed bug with textures not reloading properly resulting in white glitches on the screen.Pick up multiple items displays the correct amount you have picked up.Added Explode to various Jutsus, where they explode when they hit a target and do not use area of effect until they explode. This is still a work in progress and may not work properly!Fixed typos that used spells instead of Jutsus in some text.You can no longer learn Jutsus of the same type aka a Jutsu of a lower rank cannot be learned if you have a higher rank one already learned. You will not be able to level up Jutsus anymore if you have more than one of them, and they share Cooldowns meaning exploiting is no longer possible .Kunai left and right animations aligned better.Updated /commands.Possible bug fix with party and experience not being awarded correctly. These bugs may still exist, only time will tell.Removed the disabled prompt for Friends Window, it still may have bugs though!Bug fix with movement under rare circumstances moving you without pressing any buttons.New Server images.Fixed experience amount given by a mob under some cases it was extremely high.Added a max length for username/email address to 30 up from 20 while logging in for long email addresses. There's still a lot we're going to do, there's just so much to do that we can only do it one step at a time. Thanks for your patience. We're aware of clones and many other bugs, this game is still in early stages and there's so much we can do at once. If we do it all at once, you won't get to play the game for a long time. If we get enough support, we will buy an American Dedicated Server and keep the Hawk server for Canada. Regards, Seth

We're working on being more planned with our maintenance, we should follow a schedule although this is a problem only in alpha. It seems like even having a Server Status banner did not do the trick. I don't know how else to communicate to people who don't know how to look.

I try to be transparent even if I piss people off, because the world is super not transparent. I try to be the opposite of the what the world is. Even if I do the grunt work, at the bare bottom it enables me to know what exactly is going on rather than getting messages from people at the bottom that may not be the exact truth. Whenever the time comes that the games I make are so big that I cannot do the support, I still will check the forums out. Just reading what others say and not responding is much faster than actually responding to each request. Of course, I do need to cut back and not do this as much, but it has taught me a lot in the process.

Next patch it will reopen, it is closed down until I fix the rollbacks completely.

It isn't coming back up for awhile, wait for next patch notes. Too many players keep bugging me over an alpha, my life is almost ruined cause of it. I had to pull the plug.

The game is up right now, but it can go down at any time for maintenance.

Less than a day, we almost got everything sorted out. I will try to improve about predictions, I am not going to say. I suggest not waiting around the website and wait for a social media post. I plan to do a another patch today when I finally stabilize the game servers.

They are back up.

A quick update, we've completely erased Map Cache from the game. The loading was too terrible and caused regressions to lighting and opacity. We will continue to make optimizations to the game to increase FPS, but we aren't going to use this type of quick fix anymore.

We have people working on fixing it, I will announce when it comes back up. Not going to give any estimates right now. I don't want to try to bring it back up and have people get rolled back again.

I am getting it up soon, making some optimizations to saving to ensure the server can keep up with our traffic.

The game is open now, it will go up an down for a few weeks. That's the life of Alpha.

It is technically not launch, but it is to make it up for my event I did last night. Not sure what I am going to do yet, it will happen randomly though. No planned events of any sort.

Everything is technically P2W if you use that mentality. P2W is technically those who get an advantage that is impossible to beat. Experience boosters are not P2W, but many players on the Internet believe that they are. Even though we aren't going to have that type of item in the Cash Shop, players can still research their builds before going in. We also can offer ways to earn these items by doing events. Instead of experience boosters, we will have a well of some sort that allows you to donate Ninja Credits into. When it becomes full, it creates special events. There's already a way to reset your character anyway which will stay free and likely improve to keep some aspects of your character, so it is definitely not P2W. If you are lazy to grind then pay money. That really isn't P2W.

Invite people to the game, is all you can do for now. Make a video or post on a site and prove you invited a lot of people.

Dear Ninja, The wait is over, we've fixed most serious issues with the Open Alpha hopefully... Here's a list of changes. Loading screen should display properly. It won't display upon logging out though since there's no map to load.Wipe issues have been resolved.Title items will now display properly in the item description window.Window is properly activated when mouse is moved over it.Fullscreen has been partially supported. You can enable it by pressing Alt + Enter/Return or inputting the command /fullscreen. If resolution is 1024x768 is lower, it will force it to be fullscreen.Login now fades into the game.Bug fixes with trade/fade-in and fade-out not clearing chat and PM text properly.Bug fixes with trade.Bug fix with logging in while in server select, displaying a window it shouldn't when fails.Bug fix with cursor freezing when the authentication server is offline and being in an infinite loop.Character window properly draws the weapon.Removed Map Cache.Optimizations and misc. bug fixes.
