  1. You may need to upgrade your PC's CPU to play. There's not much more optimizations we can do to our current engine at this time.

  3. Introduction This error is caused by your ActiveX being blocked by a security update for Microsoft Office. You can try updating Microsoft Office first before attempting to run any of the suggestions below. Steps Please follow these steps provided by Microsoft if you are using Microsoft Office. Try to uninstall Microsoft Office if the Fix Tool does not work. Make sure to reboot after each tool or uninstaller you run. Try using CCleaner to ensure that no leftover registry entries are causing blockage for installers or maintenance tools.

  9. The charge Chakra is increased by Agility cause Agility increases speed of attacks, casts, and anything similar like that. It is sort of the speed of your casts, since charging Chakra is technically a Jutsu to recover Chakra. Like a form of meditation. We can later have Chakra stat increase the amount you get per charge or make that increase the cast speed, it just depends what we think is better for the game's balancing. Agility stat needs to have something for all classes. The memory leak wasn't a severe problem, we just queue them to clear if they don't log-in to the game and just keep dropping and opening the socket.
  10. Dear Ninja, We've turned off the Event from the last update and figured it wasn't good to do for an entire day - it will make the value of these items not really good if left on for 24 hours. The Events we plan are not what we have envisioned, we apologize for not delaying the best experience this will change as we get more experience and resources. Also, some of these issues in the hotfix were fixed already and released as a hotfix in the updater. Most users likely did not see these changes, since the server kept going down. We had a lot of trouble and are trying to improve, thanks for your patience! Fixed issue where fullscreen was broken. If your screen does not work correctly such as not being able to move your cursor all the way across the screen, try adjusting your DPI to 100%. We will add support for higher DPI in the future.   11. It is kind of unheard of that the game servers are off after a patch, then following another patch they are still off. It is just a point in the game's development cycle that causes this to happen. It won't be like this forever, we're learning fast and improving the game code to work under high loads of pressure.

  13. The Event will be over when the server comes back online, it wasn't working out that great and people got enough of the items already in the time the server was up. Going to do another quick update and bring the server back online. The hotfixes will be provided as a 1.6.1 update.
  14. The server is back up. I was dealing with an exploit someone was using to flood the server's memory. It should be fine now.

    Alpha

    Introduction I want to make a topic about what an Alpha is. Alpha does not have any warranty for your items, characters, and all that. If I spent time giving people items back that they lost, I would never be able to work on the game. It is a waste of time and not smart economically to do with my time. If we lose a few people, that's totally fine. I rather lose a few people than never make the game and constantly offer support. Tester You are basically a tester, someone who wants to try the game out and get a pure experience as if you were paying for it. This is why we have where you can get cosmetic items like Cash Shop by grinding in the game. It is a great value for your time, most games make you pay 100s of dollars for cosmetics right now the entire game is a free service.

  18. Dear Ninja, More improvements to the server stability and hopefully finally fixing rollbacks completely. There also has been many changes made to the game and a Halloween Event. In the Leaf Village there are special boxes that were spawned during the Launch Event. These chests contain special items we plan to sell during Beta, and some are just plain awesome and will be earned in the game possibly later! They will only last until midnight tomorrow and spawn every 5 minutes. Fixed Team chat messages to display better.Fixed Team vitals not sending properly in many situations - your health and Chakra would not send at all sometimes when it was modified.Fixed a bug with death where it did not prevent obtaining experience from Team.Updated Team GUI - [TL] was replaced with Captain and player names are drawn based on their name color.Saving is done every 60 seconds instead of every 300 seconds, so if the server does crash it will only roll you back a minute.Fixed issues with saving player data - it sometimes would roll you back by using outdated save data from another server.Rollbacks are gone hopefully now. Changed name color for Administrator and Game Master in-game.Increased the experience of all mobs that are trained on.Added a Chest NPC, they do not move and no longer can exploit certain areas that have chests such as hiding in spots NPCs will not move. They also will not level up Jutsus, we've also addressed where guards such as Shizuna can't be used by not completing the tutorial to level up Jutsus.Fixed a major issue with maps that caused corruption.Fixed an issue where the server incorrectly said a Jutsu was on cooldown when it wasn't. Jutsu types such as ranking up a Jutsu and learning a lower rank will always share the same cooldown. Although, in this case, it should not even allow you to learn it.Charging Chakra now sends the update to other Team members.The death timer has been increased to 60 seconds up from 30. This means you can remain dead longer while being revived.Updated the Jutsu tutorial in the starting area. It has more information and should work now. Before it did not work since the change of Jutsu ranking.Explosive Kunai Jutsu has been reworked. It will no longer have an AoE until rank 2, then rank 3 it will have a much larger radius when it hits a target.Fullscreen Mode has been adjusted. It now uses real fullscreen instead of fake fullscreen. We will add support for configuring the two later, but lower resolution is always better for this type of game where it stretches 2D artwork. You must reactivate it in the game - it is set to fake fullscreen until you press the shortcut key again or type the command.Escape key will erase chat text before it will remove your target. It also will no longer process anything else after erasing the chat.Shop right click menu has been fixed, as well as Inventory.Disabled the Account Manager's Reset Character functionality until next patch.Adjusted several messages for consumable items.Increased cooldown for consumable items to 5 seconds up from 3 (many cases 1 or 2 where it gave both health and Chakra), but they will give more health/Chakra. Experience consumable items will have a 1 second cooldown though.Consumable items all share the same cooldown now rather than one for health and another for Chakra. Also, all consumable items now give different values, allowing you to use the right consumable item for that specific situation you are in, to get the extra boost you need to stay alive or finish something off.Fixed an issue where shutting down a game server, did not save the player save sometimes.Moved the login process of checking for multiple logins to the Server Select screen. This allows you to log-in to the game from a server that you just left with 0 issues.Changed the name of Leaf Village Weapon Store to Tool Shop.Fixed some glitches with the player right click menu. As a remainder, it will only draw when mouse is held down and not clicked. Releasing the mouse button (right) will not activate a hovered option on purpose.Ping of client is used when seeing if another event chat message is on the way, temporary fix to address issue where players move and then just stuck.Trading has been fixed - since last patch, just wanted to let everyone know and quit telling me it is broken.Fixed Apply Bandages Technique to stack and should no longer glitch when traded.Renamed Hidden Lair to Snake Lair.The door in Snake Lair should require 100 Snake Venom to enter.Fixed bug with right click menu not displaying the right color for players who had PvP Mode on or were a Ninja Killer.Increased server shutdown time to 5 minutes up from 30 seconds.Added more Samurai to Forest Ledge.Got rid of Scroll Boxes outside of Snake Lair.Added more Scroll Boxes inside of Snake Lair.Agility increases cast speed.Misc. changes and improvements.   19. I have made a few more changes since you posted this. I check when loading your account if it is in the save queue, thanks for helping out. I thought I fixed it for good, hopefully it is impossible now. I may need ot add in a delay for lag compensation for the auth and game server, but we'll see I don't think it will be possible to log-in before the packet arrives from the game server to the auth server.
  20. This was several hours ago, no? I've made a lot of changes to the authentication server since the reopening. This is all a test.
  21. I am spam logging in and out, there's nothing your client can do to cause a rollback. Everything is done by sockets. If your client crashes or closes, it closes the socket to the server. The server handles the rest. If you continue to get rollbacks then I will look into it, but I am jumping servers constantly and not rolling back at all.
  22. I've made changes to the server. I don't think rollback is a problem anymore. You likely were a victim of a server crash. The Europe server did crash and fail to save - so you got rolled back around 3-5 minutes.
  23. Those errors only appear temporarily... If the errors continue just delete the files that are erroring. The new updater is next on my list. If you get stuck logged in, just make sure to log into the same server you logged out of. It is a little buggy still when switching servers. The game is back live.
  24. The game has been wiped, due to changing our saving and loading methods from SQL to JSON. We had to change it, sorry guys. The website was lagging really bad for a reason, plus it was really unstable. It caused rollbacks and was too slow. To make it up to you all, we're doing a 3x Experience Event for 72 hours. This is Alpha wipes happen, although we're not going to convert data to waste time that could be spent on developing the game. Once, we are officially released outside of Alpha and Beta this will not happen though. Any rewards such as titles are kept in our admin area, we will give them out again later. This does not include Launch Event items. We will host more events to replace them in the future. There has been a few other changes we've made to 1.5.0 that I have added to the list towards the bottom. The grind is more realistic to how the game was meant to be, the experience was really way higher than what Rory imagined the game to have due to the experience bug that awards more or less experience based on your level difference to the mob. I really do not see how people were complaining about leveling the way it was in the past, it was actually really easy. We will make it more fun gradually, this stage of the game is just for getting feedback and making improvements as we go. Thanks, Hitspark
