  1. Dear Ninja, This is another quick patch to fix some balancing problems as well as add some changes to the game both balancing and content. This should be the final changes until the Sand Village, we're just making sure the game is smooth for several weeks in preparation for it and the Chunin Exams. This is the final Open Alpha patch, after this we will transition to Closed Beta. Fixed crashes with the game client and server. Fixed Character Creation menu from not being able to be exited out of using escape key. Fixed the popup text for Jutsus that damage Chakra to be the correct number. Fixed a bug for not updating Team vitals when damaging Chakra. Improved game loop, everything should feel and run better. Improved tile rendering system to be more efficient. Fixed logging in as other people. Fixed server rollbacks and data loss. Improved reliability of logging in, it now works much better without errors popping up as often. Changed click sound back to what it was previously, the new hover sound has been kept. Improvements to Events, more stable and less buggy. Tutorial bugs should be resolved for not repeating animations. Fixed PvP button turning on by itself. Improved the Team system to clear properly and be less buggy. Fixed the promote team button to set the right person as Captain and sometimes it would fail. Fixed a problem where newly created accounts using social medias would not be able to login without first resetting the password, Validating account verification has been removed from the game server due to not working anymore, if you do not validate your account we do not guarantee that it will be kept though. Cloak of Invisibility can now be used if a projectile or trap has been used. It will no take you out of stealth if a user is hit either. Water is selected by default when selecting an Element. Fixed running animation to be more smooth. Fixed getting stuck when leaving maps for some users. Fixed a bug with not being able to use projectiles and Cloak of Invisibility. Improved Movement System. It updates much faster and uses time rather than FPS to determine speed known as delta. Improved the Login System. It now has a limit on how many logins you can do as part of our DoS Protection and generally faster and better. Your target now displays team icons above other players who are in your target's team. Death Window has been moved below the hotbar. Level abbreviation changed to Lv. in Target Window. Ping is now displayed on the screen instead of chat when entered and works more accurately updating once a second. /fpslock, /ping, and /fps commands now save. Removed the Team messages when joining a Team, it will only display a map message informing nearby players you have made a team as well as yourselves that it was created. Made it send a message when a Captain was promoted from a Team Member. If mouse is disabled in options, it will also disable right click for attacks. If no password is set for an account, it will inform you to use the social login instead. Added Mastery descriptions when selecting an Element. Removed login queue, to cut ahead of other players on game server. Released Event Headquarters area. Heal Wounds cooldown increased from 15-13-12 to 20-18-15 and rank 3 is no longer an instant cast. The Chakra cost increased from 25-30-35 to 30-40-50. Regen now requires being out of combat for 15 seconds up from 5. Health, Chakra, and damage no longer increase based on level. Raised the damage of Mastery Jutsus. It is now 2x the damage of Weapon and Taijutsu. Lightning Current has a 1 second end cast duration for all ranks. Lightning Current, Lightning Cutter, and Spiraling Shuriken Chakra cost updated. Updated Burning Ash Pile and Spiraling Shuriken Jutsu description. Spiraling Shuriken rank 3 now explodes upon impact, damaging nearby targets in a 3 by 3 radius. Burning Ash Pile now scales with Intellect and Chakra and the base damage has been lowered slightly. Improved the arrows in the starting room of the Leaf Village Academy to be more accurate. Updated the Scroll Shops to be more accurate for the level of Scrolls.   4. Dear Ninja, This is to fix some issues with the last patch. This is the last patch until Sand Village and wipe. Fixed exploit with Enchant Scrolls not being checked properly. Fixed scroll being given for Shizuna. Fixed issue with certain Jutsus not working with ALT self-cast. Lightning Current now is an instant cast for rank 3. Buffed Taijutsu basic attacks.   5. I am nerfing Jutsu user damage as well. The damage scaling is too high, people are bursting people down way too fast.
  6. Taijutsu damage will be buffed for basic attacks. The damage formula is higher than it was before, I wrote the code and am aware of what I changed. @Slimdog
  7. WM damage was only nerfed from basic attacks. They hit slower is all.
  8. We also have made some balancing improvements for casting. You can cast all instant cast Jutsus while moving.
  9. No. Those weapons are being phased out, we are going to make them earned better after the wipe.
  10. Fists are 2x as fast as weapon, rather than same speed as they were in the past. I have updated the changelog to include more details about the Taijutsu rebalancing. We've nerfed melee users a lot, to allow ranged users a more fair opportunity in battle.
  11. Weapon speed is different for each weapon, but the difference is 100-200 milliseconds. We have reduced the speed of weapons by almost 200%.
  12. Dear Ninja, This is mostly a bug fix and balance improvement to the game, new Tiger mobs and Event Headquarters area has been partially released. There also are some improvements to the game to make it run smoother and a new Cash Shop item. Improved tile drawing, increasing FPS by a lot. Fixed Uzu Shoes being given correctly in-game. ALT self-cast will not replace your target and works more reliably. Fixed many mapping bugs and chat messages using the wrong name. Fix crashes with server, DoS improvements, and stability from brute force attacks. Fixed drawing of paperdoll bugs. Fixed character disappearing from edge of map. Fixed a bug with paperdoll disappearing when maps are updated. Server select screen displays the region the server is meant to be played on. Added Fox Hoodie in Cash Shop. New sounds have been added to Senbon, Kunai, Shuriken, and interface hover/click. This fixes sounds missing for projectiles. Range is no longer done via client and while casting, range is no longer checked. Rebalanced many Jutsus. Fixes to many descriptions and names. Weapons have had their attack times reduced, making them much slower. Burning Ash Pile Jutsu has been reworked to damage Chakra instead of health. Added more headgear in the Forehead Protectors Shop, for those who like the protector above hair. Added Event Headquarters new area, it is not yet complete. It can be found east of the playgrounds/Chunin Exams Registration Building. Added Shiken for enrolling into Chunin Exams and updated the entrance area. Replaced Samurai with Tigers. Taijutsu melee damage is 50% of weapon damage, but the Jutsus are the same as weapon damage. This buffs Taijutsu damage for Jutsus, but lowers it for melee basic attacks.     If you want us to host Chunin on NA, you must play on Hawk consistently. We aren't moving it to NA until then. We are not hosting this month on NA, because it is not a dedicated server. Until we get enough players playing on both servers, we will keep doing EU since it is a dedicated server.

  16. Thanks for the kind words. We're unfunded group of volunteers, everyone who is contributing is doing so for very low pay if any. This is all a learning experience for us all. Rory and I are the only people on the team that have actually real experience where Rory has the most since he works for a Singapore company on actual mobile games that have a lot of funding. As for leveling up alts, you just make a new build and play again. Leveling will become more fun as the game matures. We want it to be repayable. Think of seasons in Diablo 2, where you level up a character with a build then repeat the process over and over again. This is the same way, our game takes a lot of pieces from a lot of classics and throws them all together. The Ninja style game is just a platform for us to make an innovative experience that people care about, not something that has been done before a million times. We know what we are doing basically.

  20. Some fixes. Substitution has automatic targeting now. Self-cast (ALT) is now faster. Removed old targeting client-side stuff for buffs. Bounty Station respawns you inside the same map you died.
  21. The Jutsu damage was nerfed by about 40%. This was actually a nerf and buff at the same time.
  22. Dear Ninja, This is mostly a bug fix and balance improvement to the game. We also have updated art for some Cash Shop items and added a new area for Chunin players as well as one new Cash Shop item. FPS boosted massively, huge optimizations. The PvP button should no longer get stuck on. Loading time improved. Fixed lighting and tint. Fixed messages appearing about having a Jutsu already when casting. Paperdoll should no longer disappear on edge of maps. Fixed crashes with game servers. Fixed bugs with loot sometimes disappearing if the player who did most damage logged out same for experience. It will now always go to someone, if they log out, it will go to the last person who attacked it. Made clones and invisibility take target off better from players. You can move while using pills and Jutsu item casts without being desynced. ALT key will properly set you as target before casting a Jutsu. Clones no longer make you immune to NPC attacks. Loot System has been switched to Free-For-All while in a Team. Team members share loot and can pickup other members loot immediately though. It is up to players to learn to share and work together as a Team. Loot System now gives the loot to the player who did the most damage to it. Improved the Loot System to support more than 5 different attackers, it can now check all players online to ensure the person who did the most to the mob will get the credit. Improved client outdated to be more accurate. Added Jonin Standby Station - a new area for Chunins and above which can be found in Leaf Village next to Hokage building entrance. War Armor and Flak Jacket can be bought here. Added a Teal Fox Hoodie in Cash Shop. Taijutsu damage scaling has been changed to use the same formula for their melee attacks and their Jutsus. Buffed Taijutsu melee damage since last patch. Sexy No Jutsu has been updated to keep the current hairstyle when switching genders. Shark Bomb has been fixed. Lightning Current now has a 1 second end cast duration and rank 3 requires a 1 second cast. New icon for some items - Sexy No Jutsu and Skin Color Dye. Animations from items now lock onto you. Added where the seconds left to use the item on cooldown will display in the message. Chat Bubble lasts 10 seconds instead of 5. Bounty Station respawns you inside the same map you died.   23. Chunins get exclusive content. This is confirmed and have the content coming out next patch. The rank ups unlock new missions and gear. Gear in our game has no stats, so it is RP clothing.

    If you are muted in the game send me a private message on the website. We are going to no longer mute players who speak other languages unless they refuse to acknowledge the rules, we will tell them to use team/private messages. We don't want there are be a bunch of different languages in our community, it makes everything really complicated and hard to moderate properly.
