  1. This would be a lot of work, right now individually, we plan on having mixed/advanced elements, but to make teams able to do such combos would be much harder.

  3. Yes, if an enemy spy is in your village and is not using a henge, you will not need the PvP toggle to attack him. If he is using a henge, attacking him with your PvP toggle on will un-henge him and he will be open to all your village ninjas to attack.
  4. We will have the game up with the problems which we encountered in early alpha fix. That was always our plan, but the version we released earlier was way too buggy to keep up, it was also very unstable and so it kept crashing. Once we get the next update out, we plan to have the server hosted 24/7 while we create new content.

  8. Yeah but logic applies to the game as well. Would it be very clever if running behind that building made NPCs who were pursuing you go like "WTF!? Where did he go!?" And just walk away?
  9. There are design choices I had to make early on the game game's development. Choices which now WILL and MUST be followed through with, or Nin will never be released. When I started the game, I decided not to include jumping not to include more sword swinging, not to include more handseals, because it would unnecessarily slow down the game's development. It's counter productive to go back and change shit which doesn't need changing, this is what I've learned after all the years of failing to release Nin. It's an endless cycle of trying to go back and add or fix trivial things. It'll never end.
  10. The game's combat will always be PvP, if an OOC ninja attacks you.. I'm serious, no matter how good you are an RPer, how can you call yourselves a powerful ninja in your bio if you only run away from PvP battles? In Nin, your Jutsus, stats, your real combat tactics and skill make you a powerful ninja. Your RP character is going to be rather realistic compared to what you dream him to be, if he wants to become the "God of all shinobi", he must very well be able to defeat all shinobi in a real fight, not just write it in his bio that way.
  11. I should open PvP to everyone in the safety of their village because its "real life" like to have a random Konoha Jounin kill a random Konoha Academy Student repeatedly for fun? So I should stop making a hundred level of content and missions to train and become powerful? I should just replace all those missions with punching logs until you become Hokage level? If you want to play an online arena game like that, where everyone just punches logs until they become more powerful than one another to walk out of into their own villages to kill each other, go back to BYOND. This is a real game. I'm sorry.

  15. I never planned to have jumping states because they just don't have a practical purpose in a 2D top down MMO.
  16. The population of ninjas in the world is not going to be separated. What do you do when a ninja comes out of nowhere and kills you while you're traveling in enemy territory? You deal with it, because not every ninja is going to give you an honorable RP death.

  19. False, your name just displays as ??? If you want your name and appearance to convince the enemy, you will need more than a mask, you'd need to your a henge
  20. I disagree, I think people should get used to these controls if you want to play Nin. It's not that hard. Also WASD and Arrow Keys are already useable for movement. Our page down, end keys etc. are already used as macros for facing directions.
