Ninja Biography Guidelines How to get started with your ninja biography for Nin Online! F.A.Qs What is a Ninja Biography? Your ninja biography is a write up of the tale of your ninja in Nin Online. It lists details about your character and sums up his past for others to read. While playing the game, you will encounter many players, some of which you will be interested in learning more about. You will be able to visit his ninja biography when you target him. Why do I need one? Is it compulsory? It really depends on how you want to play Nin Online. If you are simply into going around exploring the missions, and don't intend to interact with the community as much or join any Roleplay Events. You may choose not to create one. You may also decide to write one up much later, before you participate in your first Roleplay Event - the Chunin Exams. The Chunin Exam is a bi-monthly Roleplay Event held by Game Masters, where you get to pit yourself against other players and decide who ranks up in the game! How should I start writing my Ninja Biography? It is not the only way, but I would recommend that Instead of modelling your game character after your ninja biography, you may instead write up your story and describe your character after you have created him and decided how you want to play him in Nin Online. For example, you should leave out things which you haven't decided or attained from your biography, and only add them in once you have obtained them in the game. I want to be an Uchiha, with Fire Element Chakra Nature, A legendary sword called "easdasd" etc. You shouldn't mention things that aren't true or you are unsure you will ever be able to do. You should only roleplay things that are believable for the time being. What happens when your character outgrows his/her biography? For example, he was a leaf ninja but then becomes a missing nin. For the time being, please write you biographers as a Leaf Ninja, because that's where everyone is going to start. In future, once you become a missing ninja or anything happens that makes your biography "outdated", put everything you have written into a Spoiler Tag and label it "Chapter I: Academy Student Beginning" for example. This way, your entire biography will tell a long tale of your beautiful ninja character. Biography Format Things to include in your profile. I have marked the things which you can include anytime as they as regular options in the game, and things which are not a 100% obtainable at the moment or that you cannot guarentee you will have. Please do style it any way you like! Include at anytime but optional Include at anytime Include when you have obtained it

Civilian technology can definitely be more advanced. I would put TVs and all that in the houses. But the problem now is, yeah. In 200 years of peace, I don't think creating weapons would have been on their minds. They would have focused more on things that better the world like weapons to neutralize chakra rather than shotguns. That could be implemented. But they would work more as weapons used by non-ninja enemies.

I'm pretty sure a lot of technology is rendered useless for ninjas by their ninja magic. They don't have problems with transport because they can use scrolls to summon anything they keep in it, they can run faster than cars, they can do that on water and some can even fly. They're lives also revolve a lot around going on missions, and reporting back to the village, so unless you mean in 200 years they should be calling back to HQ and going like "Hey Kage, I'm done" instead of coming back to the village and doing that. I don't really see what kind technology could really have revolutionized ninja-ing.

We could have plasma TVs and cellphones. But the thing is, there will still be ninjas not really using them. There isn't a Kage wall anymore. It was destroyed when Ino learned Rasenshuriken and accidentally threw one directly at it. Because she's cute like that. You realize they wear flak jackets as their only form of protection for all the wars when the Samurais wear heavy armors right? At most, the ninjas are going to wear more durable flak jackets. They would have newer kinds of Kunais, Shurikens, new techniques etc. They aren't about to go cyber ninja in 200 years. The Uchiha clan may or may not have died off, I'll reveal that when the game releases any clans at all. How do you develop easier ways to form jutsus though, hand seals are pretty much the only way, and anything else is speculative. Buildings and cities could grow, why not? It's not as apparent in the leaf village because it was always pretty big in size, but who is to say Mist or Suna is still a shit town?

@Kenzo There are already Televisions, VCRs, Walkie Talkies and plenty of technology in the Naruto timeline. It's just not very prominent a thing you know. They have jutsus and shit to shoot fire from their mouth, they don't need guns and tanks. http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Technology

Well yeah, but we're changing things. 200 years is a lot of time, I agree. We'll be sure to stay true to the situation by adding new things and feeling free to change things if we please to fit it.

Fixed* -- How so? All the tailed beasts are living in peace with people for 200 years and we're bringing the Akatsuki back with a new purpose and under a new leader. It's a copycat group going under a scary old banner. The only thing this prologue reveals that is similar to the original series would probably be shaky relationships between the countries.

It's a copycat group, so for now just imagine what that could mean! Are they stronger? what are their motives? are they truly as evil and should they be feared the way the group was in the past? Or could they simply be fools trying to imitate the real Akatsuki?

Dear Ninja, I'd just like to reveal to your the prologue of Nin Online. It will give you a rough idea of what to expect for the in-game storyline and roleplay backstory. Brace yourselves! Prologue Two hundred years have passed since the 4th Shinobi World War, during which the world was saved from a threat to its existence. It is becoming harder for new leaders to honor the alliances made by their predecessors; the bonds formed during the war are becoming unstable and the peace between villages is beginning to grow questionable. Meanwhile, a copycat group who operate under the same name as the Akatsuki has come to light. Initially not viewed as a threat, the organization was allowed to establish itself before anyone could take notice of them. Their objectives are mysterious and their new leader is unknown. Mankind had made progress in changing age old-traditions of sealing the tailed beasts within power ninja. For years they have roamed the world freely and peacefully, but now have started to behave aggressively. The villages fear the beasts may be under someone's control, and are strengthening their defenses to protect their villages from the threat of destruction and the possibility of another war erupting in their time. Born into a generation which has known only peace and has never witnessed war, you start your journey as an academy student about to venture into the world of ninja. Responsibilities come with every decision you make. Will you become a force for peace and exact your justice, or will you descend into darkness and bring this world to an end? As much as I like the idea of having Jinchuuriki, there is no practical way to do this anytime soon. Spending the amount of development time required to create Jutsus specially for each Jinchuuriki and managing them for the sake of 1 player, is too much work. We could better use the time create more fun content for everyone to enjoy. Not ruling it out, but for the time being, I'm making Bijuu - high level bosses with rare drops Edit: Isobu I really like the 4th Mizukage sprite in your signature! Good job.
