Hi Ninjas, It's been a very long time since my last development log. One reason being that I held back making any reveals until the previous testing phase came out. During that test, a whole bunch of content was revealed such as the complete basic kits for each Elemental Mastery. Another reason has been my long absence, this has been due to a lot of unpredictable events that has happened to me up until now. But I'm back, and I'll soon be starting to do live streams of my artwork in development again, so stay tuned! Forest of Death Arena Exterior Along with this building, an entire forest of death map has been completed, the size of the map being even larger than Leaf Village itself. This is going to be the most exciting part of the Chunnin Exams in my opinion. Players will be scattered to random points in the map with their team with one of the two Heaven Scrolls or Earth Scrolls, they will then go about battling other teams in order to get the other scroll to enter the Forest of Death Arena. Taijutsus These Taijutsus are currently still work in progress. Goggles & Eye Scope NPCs around Leaf Village Fernando and I spent some time to populate Leaf Village with lively characters which each serve a different purpose. Walking around Leaf Village won't be as barren as it used to! These are just a few of them. Look forward to more from me soon! Thanks everyone for being patient with the project. Regards, Rory

You make it sound like the feature is right there and we're just now allowing players to use it. We're not restricting players from rebinding their keys. The feature just isn't implemented yet. It will be implemented in time. I've mentioned this many times in the past! In the meantime, if somebody wants to make a 3rd party tool to rebind keys, be my guest.

Get good. Most viable keys for combat imo is using arrows keys, left CTRL, this way all attacks are on your left hand and movement is on the right. Once we make Hotkeys usable with NumPad, you can WASD, right CTRL and use numpads for hotkeys.

Except it's for while in combat too. You need to strategically find time to charge your chakra.

The Controls Guide has been moved to a page.

Thank you Zel Online looks good as well.

Though EW is very well made and it provides a lot of features you would need In a game already in the engine. Extendebility will take a lot of work. Far far more than Byond for example.

I think you're not seeing how good it looks because of the GIF and it moving too fast. Took me 3 days to animate the individual flaming fur on this jutsu.

Dear Ninja, As you may have noticed, our website has just came back online from almost a day of unexpected downtime. The problem is quite complicated and has to do with the forum software using too much of our host's cache. We will be looking into it, and hopefully this will not happen again! Happy posting Regards, Rory

Well thanks to everyone's love. We kind of have enough for server fees for a long time! You guys don't see it enough, the team is so relieved and overjoyed about this. Thanks everyone for making us feel so indebted to the community.

No, no. Thank you for the bootlick 1) Is this an interrogation? 2) Sadly, no. 3) You can credit the donations to anything, including former presidents of the United States. If you do want that, I'll link the profile to their Wikipedia pages. 4) New Mission System, Team System, New Mobs & Dungeons, Hopefully a boss, new items. Tons of stuff. No promises how long these things will keep people entertained though.

When has it not been our main focus Every moment I can, I'm working on Nin online. I can say the same for Seth and many others on the team.

1. We'll give players a few weeks to prepare, get their equipment, levels and builds set. It won't be too hard. 2. We'll be working even harder, but I can't guarantee that it will be able to make up for 2 weeks of progress but it doesn't mean we'll stop creating it once we open the server. 3. Why would you do that? you evil evil man.

This ain't dragonball, you can't get power level readings.

@Streetz Wow, I never realized. Good detective work, Streetz.

Dear Ninjas, In the past few months, we've been running relatively low on funds for our server. We're not going to die because of it. But It's been so bad that I had to pump in my own money to pay for our forum license. Army pays me peanuts, so the hit on my monthly spending power is pretty drastic. I don't really mind, I know that developing a game doesn't entitle you to have it float on it's own! But it would be a great if the game could support it's own development cost. As always, funds are spent on Software licenses, Virtual Services, Server hosting, Web hosting & Commissions. We've been working hard day and night to bring Nin Online great new contents, features and weeding out bugs for alpha 3. As such, we've decided that if we're able to get enough donations that the game will be able to sustain itself in the long term... we will push forward the Alpha by 16 days! Making the first closed alpha happen on the 15th July. This means that open alpha will also be pushed forward. In addition to this, we will prepare ourselves to run the 1st Chunnin Exams shortly after. Alpha 3 Donations: $805/500 Goals: $250 - 1st Chunnin Exams held during Alpha 3 Chunnin Exams to be held in Open Alpha 3! $500 - Closed Alpha & Open Alpha brought forward by 16 days! Closed Alpha 3 moved up to July 15th! We may extend our goal to $1,000. How to donate? All Ninja Credit bought between now and 10th July will be considered a donation to Alpha 3 funds! You will still be given your Ninja Credit, which will soon be used to buy cosmetic items such as hairstyles, faces and costumes. Click here to proceed straight to the cash shop to donate. Step-by-step guide Donors Nin Online is only be possible with your support, we would like thank everyone who donates to the game. Regards, Rory

we've gotten so many great submissions that it's going to be painful to have to choose one as the winner. This will be the cut off point for entries! Our judging panel will look through it and award the winners within the next 24 hours. Good luck everyone.
