Even after successful night raid, the enemies of Leaf would not dare to waste time on their way home or look behind their back, for they fully knew that they were being chased and what was on their track. Only in the safety of their villages, behind the walls guarded by the jonin, the survivors would whisper a ghost tale about an undying ninja, that would not stop fighting, no matter how many times was he struck a mortal blow. Little did they know the truth... What is already dead may never die, but raises again, freakier and more stubborn! (obligatory ninja screen image and some extra fanservice for people complaining I dress like an onion and they can't see my shark skin at all... HINODE HEADREADQUARTERS Anyone familiar with the usual layout of the Hinode clanhouse will notice that during Haloween every room becomes slightly twisted... grim... and even spooky, all while retaining their original function. 1. Starting at the bottom left - the bedroom, the place where we wake up for yet another day of ninja service and meet at the small table for a quick breakfast consisting of premade food (no point of cooking with all the food stalls around Leaf). Yet on the day of Haloween white pillows disapear, replaced by chains and plan wooden planks of the torture racks. Samurai are prisoners of their duties after all. 2. Top left room is the meeting hall - the place where the clan sits together to discuss matters at hand. Of course the voting is more of a "voting", as it only serves the current Branch Leader as an advise. During Haloween a carved pumking appears in the dark corner, behind the leader's seat, acting as a jester and mocking each and every decision he may make. Noticeable presence of an organ/piano serves to add additional musical drama to the Hinode meetings. 3. Middle left room is the gallery, from which the visitors not associated with clan may observe the proceedings of the meetings (while being observed in turn by the unwavering stone gaze of a Shinigami statue). Of course some guests stay here for a bit longer than they expected, as is indicated by the presence of a iron cage. 4. Central room is the shrine, where Hinode usually worship the memory of their ancestor Hamerashi and the samurai code he wrote for his followers. On the day of Haloween the scroll with a code is replaced by the bloody mark of the Hidden Leaf Village, and the altar itself is sprayed by the blood spilled by the clan in the endless ninja wars, following the order of the Fire Daimyo. 5. The vestibule next to the entrance door is separated from the shrine by the wooden counter and a stone tablet containing the names of the fallen Hinode (Important house rule - no shoes inside, beyond this point! It's a proper samurai household after all!). 6. The living room on the top right is the place where clansmen gather to sit by the chimney or on the benches, talk and relax. Hovewer lately mostly spiders spend their time here, weaving their nets wherever possible (if you look closely you can even see one hanging in front of the picture). Due to being the biggest open area of the home, whenever big summoning ritual is performed it is here where the tags of the sealing formulas are placed. 7. The sick bay at the bottom right is a place where Hinode, renowned far and wide for their medical prowess on pair with their swordsmanship, study books, prepare medicines and conduct research on the subject on the human anatomy (inhuman as well, as is proven by the skull of the infamous Paintails that once invaded hidden Leaf), without the fear of being shunned by the narrow minds. The left head on the display is actually the greatest mind known to Hinode - their very own founder's Hamerashi's skull, carefully preserved for the later generations. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/432244433409540106/904132793724981298/unknown.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/432244433409540106/904132731238252584/unknown.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/432244433409540106/904132700728877076/unknown.png1 point

Wind had 1 jutsu nerfed. This jutsu was more than over the top over powered. Wm NEEDED nerfs. They have VERY heavy melee attacks. Their jutsu needed balancing. When most people chose a mastery, they go for what is strong over what they would have wanted to be as a ninja living into the naruto verse. There isnt a single person on earth who told to himself he would be a medical hyuga weilding a sword if he was in naruto. This is just incompatible in the manga and anime. Sadly its a thing in Nin. If GFs were to change in a way wielding a sword wasnt a thing anymore,(expemple if mastery gets locked and both tai and gf path were to be agi based), should we give them a mastery reset because those who abused the game mechanics felt bad about their unlikely mastery combo no working well anymore? I do not think so. They went for something they knew was more than likely impossible in the universe nin is based of and abused of the situation. they knew the risks. Another good exemple are those who went WM then medic. They knew their choices wouldnt have a future advanced mastery. They still went for it. There isnt a single player who achieve lvl 50 and doesnt know those facts. But people still does it. At this point its their fault. Its not the game designer ruining their mastery. Its the player ruining his character in the long term run. Its sabotage and none should have a mastery reset for it. The only possible way i see someone could get a mastery reset in a fair way is for those who would have wanted a double mastery as advanced in the future. You currently cannot have lets say TAI TAI. You must be TAI + something else. Advanced are gonna have Tai Tai so those who went tai + somehting else should be able not to change their second mastery but go for double tai. Same goes for any double mastery as long as the second one is the same as the first you went for. (I hope thise makes sense to you lol)1 point

New Dynamic Shadow System An advanced 2D shadow system that works together with our Advanced Lighting System to create cool subtractive rendered shadows. Added options for Advanced Lighting System & Dynamic Shadows While it may be tempting to stick to what you are used to, and while it may have some performance impact. We have optimized our advanced lighting system (not so much the dynamic shadows yet) to the point where most computers should be able to run it with very little performance impact. Generally, if your client is already running at hundreds of FPS, eg. 500fps, and you have a 144hz monitor, you get the same experience playing at 144fps or 500fps. So even if it feels good to reduce effects to get arbitrary numbers above your monitor's refresh rate, I highly advise against it. Enjoy the improved visual fidelity! Optimized Lighting System with Sparse Quadtree Grid Should see up to 20% more FPS on lighting heavy maps. We generate something known as a Sparse Quadtree Grid to optimize what needs to be rendered by the game. Basically, this very simple automatically generated grid contains the information the engine needs to tell what lighting effects it needs to render and what it doesn't. Super advanced coding magic by @TheWolf Increased Max Lighting Size for Spotlights in our Advanced Lighting System Fixed Samurai Hairstyle visual glitches Fixed Sound Issue that started in latest versions (regression) Fixed Transformation Technique (regression) Improved Day/Night Clock Would show PM at 12AM, this is fixed. Improved Day/Night Overlays Longer days, shorter dawn and dusks. Improved light intensity at dawn Glowing/Pulsing/Flickering Lights now pulse at different timings1 point

Time/Day/Night related changes Game time now takes place over the span of 24 in-game hours. Previously the game's clock would go from 0-12 and then restart. This was a little weird. The game's world now has 24 hours, but moves 4 times as fast as real hours. Meaning 6 hours per day cycle. This should help players who play short periods of time a day at fixed time being subject to only ever seeing one time of day. Added clock at the bottom right of the HUD. We intend to next, sync the time system with the server's time and set raids and world events to happen at fixed in-game world time. For example, raids might happen every (game) day at 12pm. In the future with automated tournaments and such, we could make it happen every 4pm game time, as another example. This should make things a lot clearer. Fixed day/night sometimes turning black for a moment when GMs adjust time.1 point

New Day/Night Overlays & Lighting System A good example of how our new UI system is helping speed up development. This feature and all the editors were completed by @TheWolf in the last two days. Also, the new Day/Night Overlays are done with shaders and is more optimized than the old day/night system. It's possible that some users may experience good performance gains from the new system. Fixed Item Sell Price being displayed wrongly, improved message Spider eggs would sell for 2 Ryo but when you double-clicked it, it would say "This item will sell for 1 ryo" Now it'll say "Spider eggs sells for 2 ryo" Fixed GPU Utilization being high in Main Menu Forced VSync on main menu to make sure the client isn't trying to render infinite frames on main menu. Fixed furniture rendering [BUG] image over them sometimes1 point

Baked Player Rendering Player characters and all their paperdolls (Skin, Eyes, Hair, Weapon, Accessory, Shirt, Vest, Pants, Shoes, Buffs) are now baked to a single render texture, should increase performance on maps with large numbers of players drastically. This also allows us to apply shaders to the player character like the outline shader. Look behind feature You can now see your own player, and your vicinity behind walls. You can now see your target and it's vicinity behind walls. Outline targeted players Player targets are now outlined, like mobs have been. When zooming, smooth maps texture Previously when zooming, the map would stay "nearest neighbor" style rendering, which didn't work well with non-integer scaling. This wasn't obvious, but now we smooth it with the same bi-linear filtering we had on the player for non-integer zooms. The transition should be slightly more seamless now when zooming. Corp chat (/c) Type /c <msg> to speak to everyone in your corporation Targeting tracking is now available on any zoom level, not just when zoomed in You can still disable it in settings if you don't like it, meant to help track action. Fixed Corp UI flickering bug1 point

Testing new UI System We've implemented a new immediate mode UI system that Wolf created that we will slowly move all our UI over to. For the time being, it is being used for Corps and Houses. This UI system is highly optimized, once we've completely moved all our UI over to it, it should increase performance (FPS) marginally. There's still some quirks to work out, like typing in the name input box will open other windows and scroll wheel for scrolling isn't working yet. In-game Corps UI (Previously running on WinForm) Updated House UI (Previously running on WolfUI) Added TV functionality for players TVs will only work in Instanced maps (aka. Houses) for the time being. To display any YouTube video on a TV, copy a youtube URL in your clipboard with CTRL+C, then interact with your TV. It will sync the video with other guests ( but not the time stamp at the moment) Added new graphics for Pushball New blue look and logo for Pushballs to differentiate it from Dodgeball. Collecting server performance analytics to MongoDB Moved Blessing Data to MongoDB Players can now report other players while fainted/incapacitated and waiting for revives. (Admin Only) GMs can now mute players with spaces in their names with text command. (Hopefully) Fixed bug where players could not be traded sometimes The error message "This player is busy!" would appear, even though they weren't. Names now appear in error messages that say "Player is not online!" Will instead display "John is not online!". Removed shadows when sitting down They didn't make sense. Removed shadows when lying down This made it look like they were floating above the bed/floor. Improved wing animations for both Angel Wings and Devil Wings based on player feedback They now bob along with the character on all directions. Fixed the following graphical bugs Restored quality of Black Shoes paperdolls, they loss a lot of shading in optimizations a year or two ago Fixed rogue pixels with Black Shoes for female characters while sitting down Fixed Weasel Kit head turning into wolf head in one sprite pose Fixed Anniversary Robe color issues for female characters while sitting down and stunned Fixed Hide Hair functionality on a system level for things like masks that wrap your entire head. Fixed message "Player's level is too high" spacing, grammar and punctuation issue1 point
