  1. With the new great org system it would be nice to have a better "Peace List" version of villages as well, so it would be nice if each village had a org that is managed by the kage, the org will give missing ninjas the ability to not have ff with the villagers, it could also allow them to spawn in the village they are allied with but thats not a must tbh.

  2. Currently there is a Toad Summoning Contract on the Toad map which makes it seem like it's intended that everyone is able to get a Toad summon but that isn't the case, only Leaf can get it. I think that Toad should be an universal summon that people can get at the Toad map and that Leaf should get something else for it's exclusive summon. Tortoise seems like a nice one since there are tortoises around the Leaf Village map and in the anime the only person we saw use a tortoise was Might Guy who was a Leaf ninja. Tortoise would be a very tanky summon with low damage.

  3. Don't know if this was ever brought up before but instead of when you use the color changers and have to cycle through them have them pop up a color wheel so you can use your cursor to select a color instead, just a small quality of life thing to make color changing faster and work for some people's RP.

  4. Fact is that toxicity has sadly become a core part of the game and playing Nin on a regular basis can taint even the kindest players as time goes on. During my 1 year period playing the game I realized that the community normalizes toxic behavior through either saying it's "RP" or just turning a blind eye to things people wouldn't dare say in real life because it's only a 2D game. My issue with this is mainly that when I found Nin, while I was searching for a fun Naruto-based game, I thought (mainly due to its 2D graphics) it would be a game that is child-friendly and as such has a community where things like ERP, racism and mobbing are not really a thing. The realization that Nin was in fact not the game I initially perceived it to be was kind of a double edged sword as on one side I was relieved since I'm not playing a game meant entirely for children, on the other hand I was taken aback by the amount of people calling each other every name in the book just because they either don't like a certain someone or want to take out their real life frustrations in-game. This leads to issues such as people who are good at PvP or are part of a larger group spam-killing or KoS-ing people they don't like, making it basically impossible for them to enjoy the game or high-level players spam-killing or demanding money from lowbies which makes people not want to play anymore. Villages aren't as safe and supportive as people might initially think either as they all share problems like people accusing new players of being alts or spies, not paying attention to lowbies' needs and ranked ninja (and I'm generalizing here) not helping out new players with RP because they can't be bothered to host missions after a while. People were all hyped for the Steam release and some new players even found the game through the site, but most of them didn't make it to 30 because the environment just isn't supportive of new arrivals. All I can suggest is that people who want to see change in the game keep on trucking and bring that change by trying to help out the new players as much as they can so they feel cared for, educate them on how to grow a thick skin against people being toxic to them in the DZs or while on the grind and tell them that Nin is a fun game all-in-all if they happen to find people who they share a similar mindset with. I don't think people who spread toxicity will change, as the current climate supports their behavior but things may change with time and if the game's community manages to turn a 180 and prioritize real "RP" over mobbing these people will either have to adapt or leave the game themselves. Until then let's just work on bettering ourselves and the community and maybe one day we'll get there. Peace.

  5. As we all know, there's a rampant problem with the amount of exiles/teleportation being abused. 1)Villages have been abusing the exile/ pardon feature to get quick movement to rogue villages(Ie, host lab, takumi, tanzaku) or vice versa(getting into leaf/sand/mist) without having to travel. This may not pose as an imminent problem, however it does make things such as the house teleportation very abusable. Not only this, but if you are to be exiled in an RP sense, it does not allow for a return to the village whenever you deem fit. My idea to prevent this from being abused? Implement the same feature now used in corps. If you are exiled, you must wait 30 days(rather than the corps 180) before you can return to the village. This will put more of a sense of urgency behind the exile and pardon features to prevent them from being abused, and force village leaders to make these calls strategically. 2)The next rather important issue is the issue of teleportation/ quick map travel. more than once I've watched ninja run into a house and log off. only to appear in their home village free of BI, carrying whatever mission(Generally Docs) they've completed safely without worry of dying on the way. I feel as though I don't need to go into great detail on this one, as we all know this is not how @Ueda intended it. Along with the house teleportation abuse, there is the issue of the "Hidden Kage Room". A room kages can carry their entire party into. Long ago, I never thought this could/would be abused. But now you will find when a group of ninja is pinned in a situation they cannot hope to escape from; the kage can team up with them, and teleport them all to that room. Safely in the village. This can also be done with bosses(Ie, Spider Boss/Snake Boss). Anything really that will teleport your team. This can be a bit trickier to fix. As far as the houses go, it may be as simple as making it so you go through the same actions as death(Potentially minus the BI) to ensure it is not abused for mission purposes. Elsewise you can lock houses to villages so that (for instance) a leaf ninja cannot enter a sand ninjas household, or vice versa. The kage room can be fixed by making it a door in the kage office similar to the chunin entrance building. Where kage can lock/unlock the area as they please to bring people in and out. This would remove the need for teleportation altogether. Lastly for the bosses, you could make it so that each member has to elect to enter the room. Now that instanced maps are a thing, I imagine it would be easy enough to make sure you enter the same room as the rest of your party. These are just some ideas to fix some fairly broken mechanics in the game. Input is appreciated, but if you're only shooting them down because you enjoy to abuse them yourself then keep scrollin'!

  6. This is not even worth doing because most of the "new players" are old players masking as incompetent to abuse your kindness and progress faster. At the end of the day they will laugh at you saying they used you and then try to get gangs to hunt you down. This has happened to me a multitude of times, especially as a rank who can host RPs for people. Best thing that can be done to reduce toxicity is to have game mechanics that does its best to not support it. Otherwise, do what you want because there will always be someone trying to make your game experience less than ideal. There has been many times where I spared someone and they simply waited around for friends to jump me. Can't trust people in this game except for your own made social group.

  7. After listening to @Ueda and @Serias talk about the vision of the game and the amount of effort that went into implementing the Hidden Mist Village and the Hidden Sand Village me and my friend @SpellWiz started brainstorming ideas and a village layout for the Hidden Cloud Village. This is what we came up with, because Rory and Serias appreicate any playermade content that could contribute to future development and success of NinOnline Basic line-art of cloud village layout I imagine use of flicker pads and bridges to traverse the village Exclusive Passive: Body Flicker range is increased by 2 tiles. Decently balanced mastery. Similar to Sand's perfect cloak. Due to the Cloud Village's structure, it's ninja have adapted to traverse the large gaps. Exclusive Combo Mastery: Laser [Water / Lightning] Ninja from the Cloud Village have passed down techniques that utilize Storm release to create focused lasers. Exclusive Alternate Mastery: Cloud-style Kenjutsu [Weapon Master] Agility-locked sword(s) with agility-based weapon master skills. Can use strength-based weapon master skills with the cloud-locked swords, and vice versa. Agility and strength-based weapon master skills share respective cooldowns. Any cloud-locked swords have lower base-damage than current swords, but higher attack speed. Level 10: Cloud-style Backlash Slash Free-aim-based skill. Charge and perform an upwards slash, interrupting casting jutsu on-hit. 1-2 tiles directly in-front of the user and 2-1 second standing-running cast-time based on level. Level 15: Cloud-style Reverse Beheading Free-aim-based skill. Spin instantly, dealing damage to all enemies within 1 tile. 1s - Instant cast-time based on level, 1 tile radius in all directions. Level 20: Cloud-style Riposte Free-aim-based skill. Users swiftly lunge forward creating an extended range of up to 3 tiles. 3-2 second running cast-time based on level. Level 25: Cloud-style Afterimage Strike Target-based skill. After seemingly splitting into 3 from the intense speed, users instantly move in-front of and attack their target up to 3 times instantly. 2-1 second running cast-time and 3-7 tile range based on level. The user briefly appears surrounding the target on all sides except directly behind them, and any spots unavailable reduce the amount of hits. Level 30: Cloud-style Deception Beheading Substitution-based skill. The user feigns Substitution Technique, preparing to counter. Before receiving an attack, they reappear right in-front of the attacker and launch a counterattack. Level 35: Cloud-style Crescent Moon Target-based skill. Makes the user instantly move in-front of their target and widely slash, creating a large crescent shape hitting all enemies within 2 tiles on all sides of the user, except directly behind. 2-1 second run-cast and 2-4 tile range based on level. Exclusive Summons: Drill Bird Walk/Flicker. Lunges forward to attack head-on with it's beak, creating an extended range. (2-6 tile range based on level) Not as ugly or huge as Pain's monster. Baku Stationary/Target-facing. Pulls in all enemies in a cone-shaped radius. (3-7 tile furthest-point range and 1-2 tile knockback towards summon based on level) Not as huge as Danzo's monster. Or a simpler elephant. Exclusive Organization: Kinkaku Force 5 Members. Aimed to be a heavy team-play based squad. Bashōsen (Fan): Weapon-slot item with jutsu-on-basic. Random large-scale element-based attack is released on auto-attack. High damage, as well as effects based on element. Cost 100 chakra per-cast. Gives 25 intellect. Kohaku no Jōhei (Pot): Weapon-slot item with jutsu-on-basic. On use, pulls target towards snared user. (Think 1 tile knockback towards the user, 2 tiles if target is below 50%) Consumes 100 chakra per-second. If a target is touching the user, while below 20% health, they are killed and instantly sent to their hospital and counted as a kill for the pot's user. Gives 25 fortitude. The next three are a testament to the "team-play" design of the organization Kōkinjō (Rope): Weapon-slot item with jutsu-on-basic. Upon the user successfully landing an auto attack on a target without "Word Soul Leak", "Word Soul Extract", "Word Soul Seal", nor "Word Soul Sentence" debuffs, 100 chakra is consumed and the target receives the "Word Soul Leak" debuff for 30 seconds. Gives 25 agility. Shichiseiken (Sword): Weapon-slot item with jutsu-on-basic. Upon the user successfully landing an auto attack on a target with "Word Soul Leak", 100 chakra is consumed, the target's "Word Soul Leak" is removed and they receive the "Word Soul Extract" debuff for 30 seconds. A linked, targetable and invincible, "Word Soul" mob is spawned at the location for the debuff's duration. Gives 25 strength. Benihisago (Gourd): Weapon-slot item with jutsu-on-basic. Only with a "Word Soul" mob as a target, on use the user pulls the target towards themselves. (Think 2 tile knockback towards the user) If the target touches the user, it is unspawned and whomever it is linked to has "Word Soul Leak" removed and receives the "Word Soul Seal" debuff for 30 seconds. After "Word Soul Seal's" duration you receive "Word Soul Sentence" for 30 seconds, during which you are pulled toward the gourd's user. (Think 2 tile knockback towards the user, 3 tiles if target is below 50%) Anyone touching the gourd's user while under the effects of "Word Soul Sentence" are killed and instantly sent to their hospital and counted as a kill for the gourd's user. Consumes 50 chakra per-second while pulling anyone. Insignificant chakra results in the inability to pull "Word Soul" mobs, as well as no one with "Word Soul Sentence" being pulled in. Those affected by "Word Soul Sentence" are only pulled while the gourd is equipped. Gives 25 chakra. Cloud Village is years-away content, and I expect literally nothing to come of this post besides simple chatting. For most things I have given example cast-times, ranges, etc. but more balancing would be required for any actual implementation. The organization items may sound a bit OP or over-tuned, but compared to puppets/ssm I would defend the suggestions. Specifically, the 3-man combo items would require 100 chakra each and 30 seconds to execute 1 person, which a 3-man squad should be able to do easier than using these items. The theory is 3-man comboing the healers and killing everyone else. Also, the Gourd user would be a target the entire time to stop the effects of "Word Soul Sentence." There's also the village layout; according to the devblogs, round buildings are especially tough...that's the entire village. Flicker pads is a personal preference, as I feel that it would be cool to traverse the village that way. Based off the basic line-drawings, a pure conversion to pixel-art and mapping wouldn't be possible, but the ideas are there.

  8. Honestly, i think weapon swap should give a player 3 second's of silence. i think Fan / Weapon / Gentle fist mastery is good even as single mastery, in case where user's Fan/Weapon and GF/Weapon dont have to split a stat point's for second mastery make them a little overpowered if compare to others.

  9. I am being on topic. Teleportation to the room should only be allowed from within the Kage building and spawns should not be in one building with one exit. Having an exile period is horrible because if a Kage makes a mistake that person is stuck as a rogue for that period.

  10. "Because i dont need reason" "Welcome to sand" @Ueda Why do you let that persist. Toxicity does not equal monarchy or whatever ruler-ship you call Sand. There should be ways to fight back even if they have all the power.

  11. I always thought this NPC and the sword he has is pretty cool. It would be nice if it was turned into an actual boss that can be killed. It already walks around like a mob and can be targeted so it doesn't seem like it would be difficult to do. It would drop the sword that it carries, maybe even the jacket.

  13. I like your conversations even if others find it as a rep grind. It gives something to actually talk about. As for the Kage situation, @Ueda should find a way to fix that. Kage's will ignore messages about pardons and only want ryo for themselves. If it was used for village events I would understand it, but lining your own pockets is toxic. If you believe this is right because there are real life tyrannical leaders, know that they are also able to get assassinated and replaced unlike in Nin. Kage's should have a better way to transition power in general and if not, it should be done on a more frequent basis so that people do not have to suffer for a full 6 months.

  14. I'd be all for adding more jutsu slots since even by lv. 60 you only get enough slots for all your basic techniques, 2 sets of mastery-bound jutsu, summoning and a jutsu of your choice. This means people are forced to play without fuuma, sensory or transformation, which are all fun and useful techniques in their own right. Expanding jutsu slots by 3 would definitely provide a feasible solution to the problem at hand.

  15. Hello Nin Online community, today my suggestion will revolve around the Medical Corps and how to fix the inactiveness. First, I will list the 3 major reasons why nobody wants to join the Medical Organizations on Nin Online. 1. There is no benefit. 2. It is cosmetic based and you don't have to be apart of the Organization to wear the Medical Cosmetics. 3. You can just be a medic and help people without being in the Medical Organization. There is a solution to all three! 1. Give the Medical Organizations in each village an Area of Effect Healing Technique. Let's try this! Let's call the jutsu... Hands of Healing and let's make it a Tier 3. From that point forward, let's apply the template of Earth Prison and Great Earth Prison to the Hands of Healing move, but let's change it up a bit. Let's give it 7 levels. Level 1 - all within 4 tiles get healed. Level 2 - shorten cd by 1 Level 3 - shorten chakra cost by 1 Level 4 - All within 5 tiles get healed Level 5 - shorten cd by 1 Level 6 - Shorten chakra cost by 1 Level 7 - All within 8 tiles get healed Let's make it so that when you activate the jutsu, you can only stand in one area. For the icon for when it heals others, you can just use the Akatsuki aura and make it lime green. @Artists Any suggestions on how to improve the idea will be welcomed, otherwise all irrelevant posts below will be in violation of the Terms of Service. Thank you for your time.

  16. It would be a good perk for Med-Corps members to work hospitals during raids with a jutsu that is similar to Mystical Palm that in turn makes BI fade faster. This would lock people to hospital beds for treatment, give chakra medics work inside of hospitals instead of power-healing BI warriors in a village counter-raid and significantly cut down the BI timer all while keeping the RP in-tact.

  17. Another sword? i dont say its bad idea but i feel soon we will reach bigger amount of weapon's than jutsu's in game.

  18. We're focusing on making sure the Housing system is as stable and battle-tested as possible before further extending it. This is a cool idea, we were thinking of doing a generic storage. But I think a piggy bank would be cute too.

  19. ERP shouldn't be allowed on a game where 13+ yr olds can do it. If saying curse words like pussy and phrases like "run pussy, you fight like some b*tch", etc. can get me banned. ERP should be outlawed. Pls upvote.

  20. It would be nice if we had a visual indicator similar to a buff/debuff that told us our maplock length. It gets a little old running back and forth into the exit to see if you can leave yet,

  21. So, Im playing sand since 1y+ I got about 6 months break and I came back to play as Sand. As always I decided to grind scorpions till lvl 15 to get some money from blanks and tails. I was grinding with fan so as you know it has cooldown at hits. Every time I tried to hit scorp one of "sand blank farmers" stole it from me when I told him to stop I just got "go coyotes". I got mad and started to hit scorps in front of that blank farmer with kunai (15 dmg hit so he didnt got loot) than Allmighty Sand Kage came and jailed me, he just came and jail, any questions, any conversation, after jail I got exile, reason? Spy, than disrespecting kage and finally "Because I dont need reason". Is it normal behavior? For 1y playing sand I never had that situation. (Sorry my english is not the best)
