  1. More common jutsu's which you can collect over the world. Every mob above ~35 level can drop piece of scroll, you have to collect 2 matching piece's for obtain jutsu, Or make it able to get from regular blank's but 50+ level requried, Idea about "piecie's" and mob 35+ req is about make danger zones more active. Example for new common jutsu's : (i dont spend much time for think about numbers) Remove DoT from yourself. (25CP, 1s cast time, 1s selfstun) Little heal (50CP, heal for 80, 1s cast time) Chakra armor (45 CP, 1s cast, instead lost HP you lost Chakra for 10-15s) Yourself boost (40CP, 1s cast, after you use it, all yours jutsu chakra cost double but also damage too, lasts 10sec,silence user after for 3s) Instant Cloak (40CP, its instant but cloak lasts only 3sek) Over the limit (50CP, when you out of chakra you still can use jutsus but lost HP instead of Chakra, lasts 15-20sec, silence user after for 3s) I think those common jutsu's will help make your own ninja, instead of have the same jutsu kit like other's players with your mastery. Also you shouldn't be able to get them all (jutsu slot's).

  2. Mist Village Invitationals - Effective from 8th Mizukage term. Roleplay lore: Mist village believes in rewarding the strong, enemy or not. Therefore in pursuit to find the strongest, the mist village occasionally hosts the "Mist Village invitationals", where ninjas from all factions (Sand, Leaf, Missing) are invited to participate inside the mist in different tournaments and challenges. Winners will be rewarded with Ryo prizes, and eternal glory, as there will be a leaderboard for results on each Invitational event. Invitationals will be announced 1 week prior to all villages. To participate: 1. Arrive at Mist and look for an MMPF officer or 7sm member, they will usually be at Totori or Mist GD 2. You must pay 50 ryo to enter the event (mist players can enter for free) 3. Once inside the village, you must keep pvp on. This is a safety precaution 3. Listen to the MMPF officers instructions to join the events Our esteemed 7SM and MMPF will be guarding the event closely so all guests and villagers are safe. Villages may still raid during this time, but it is not recommended as 7sm, HN and MMPF will be guarding + scouting at the relevant entry points. IF a village raids during this time, any villagers participating will have to leave the mist village territory ASAP or be killed (they will also be eligible from rewards). Invitationals also have extra challenges for players: 1. TBA There will also be 1v1 challenges to fight our Lord Mizukage and high ranking Bloody Mist villagers. These challenges will cost 100 ryo but the payout will be 10x if you win! For our main event we will host different tournaments (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, etc. but the full agenda will always be announced prior to the Invitational Event.)

  3. So last year Rory had mention that he wanted to rework/change how the official organization would work in game (We’re going to be reworking how official organizations like 7 Swordsmen, ANBU, Akatsuki work to be more integrated into the game. If you have suggestions on what you want from it, post it in the suggestions forum) So I had a decent idea to incorporate jinchuriki mechanic into the game that revolve gameplay around all the villages organization and the Akatsuki and possible rogue organization group. @Ueda@Erox@Antar@Vaxure Tailed Beast Boss MOB Every village has one tailed beast that spawn inside their village with a second tail beast spawning somewhere near outside the village. EXAMPLE Hidden Mist Village The Three Tailed Beast Spawn inside the village. The Six Tailed Beast spawns left of the kraken map on the mini-island or vice versa. Hidden Leaf Village The Nine Tailed Beast spawn somewhere inside the village. The Five Tailed Beast spawn somewhere in the bottom left corner or a random spot in the Cherry Blossom Forrest. Hidden Sand Village The One Tailed Beast Spawn in the village. The Seven Tailed Beast Spawn somewhere in the big desert map. Remaining Tailed Beast The three remaining Tailed beast will spawns somewhere randomly on the mainland in the game Tail Beast Boss and Jinchuriki Mechanic Again, these bosses should be made into raid worthy bosses like that of the Bonesword boss in addition to (like split phases, dps checks, invunerability phases where there is an interaction with the map) to make it fun content and not extremely tedious. For reference, in the anime Tobi and Deidara was able to duo capture the three tails with ease by themselves. Also, this can be further discussed because it would be also cool if Akatsuki member get like a 50% bonus damage to all the tail beast or something. Also, once the tail beast is defeated, an Chakra Medic with 60+ Charka will have the able to seal the tail beast into a tradable scroll that can have three different effects base on the character current Chakra Stat points. 30 Charka Requirement. Initial tailed beast Form gives + 20 in all stats (Similar to when Naruto tapped into the Nine-Tail's Charaka due to his exhaustion from fending off Haku's Crystal Ice Mirrors Jutsu and the rage at Sasuke's apparent death.) 45 Charka Requirement. Four tail beast form gives + 25 in all stats (where Naruto allowed the Nine-Tails to take control of his body in the hope of defeating Orochimaru.) 80 Charka Requirement. Charka Mode gives + 40 in all stats (similar to when Naruto decides to train with fellow Jinchurki Killer B to gain control of the Nine-Tails) Official Organization With the Addition to these tailed beasts being added into the game we can also some more special mission for our organization member to complete to earn extra experience points and ryo and maybe some sort of special currency that can use at a special shop for completing these mission. Example Military Police Force. - Tailed Beast Guard Duty ANBU/SSM, Puppet Bridge, 12 Guardian - Spy on enemy village Tailed Beast. - Capture enemy village Tailed Beast. - Village Jinchurki escort mission. - Retrieve stolen tailed beast from Akatsuki Lair . Akatsuki - Capture all tailed beast. - Seal 3 Tailed beast in the Gedo Mazo statue - Seal 6 Tailed beast in the Gedo Mazo statue - Seal 9 Tailed beast in the Gedo Mazo statue New Akatsuki Mechanic New addition perk/passive for when 4 Akatsuki member or more are assemble in the same map they’re able to summon the Gedo Mazo statue(BOSS MOB) into combat to help seal away or capture Jinchurki or tailed beasts.

  4. I was thinking something like instance bosses might be fun. Maybe something like the kraken but it has super armor on its head and you have to kill all the tentacles to damage it for a short while till the tentacles resurface, with each tentacle having like 1k hp and head having like 25k. Another type would be if the giant spider periodically jumps onto the wall or something and gains armor and you have to kill a bunch of little ones to take off the armor. Horde mode would be fun aswell, with rewards on specific waves such as cosmetics or other rare items. Could probably do something like zetsus for it, and have a centre building with a certain amount of hp. When the building is destroyed you lose. Best example I can think of is this (skip to 6:00 mins) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9xW3V05-hc&ab_channel=%E2%98%85WishingTikal%E2%98%85

  5. (Pre Notes: 1. Nothing we come up with is guaranteed to be implemented even if we all agree its a good idea, this thread is only meant to give the Dev Team some ideas to work with in the future. 2. We are not at the true cap yet of which the current cap is 60.) Dear Veteran Ninja, I've been brainstorming about what would help keep players interested in playing once they hit the level cap (Currently Level 60), So far I have two ideas but of course this is only based on what I see and personally think, those ideas are the following. So now I'm encouraging you guys to drop a few ideas, discuss it, improve upon etc.. ~Erox

  6. Mist bribes feature - Effective from 8th Mizukage term. We have introduced a new RP feature as mist during the 8th Mizu term! Mist bribes! Roleplay lore: AS mist village ninja are known to be brutal and careless, with only the regard for power or capital, ranked mist players can be bribed to complete mist missions (Mist Survey, Mist Spa, Mist Docs, Mist Spy). What happens: 1. If you have a mission inside the mist village, and wish to pay for safe completion inside mist territory, look at the bounty book 2. Find a Chunin+ ranked ninja OR an MMPF officer (mist military police force) 3. Message them telling them the mission you want to complete BEFORE arriving at mist port 4. Meet your host and pay at the port. The price list is as follows: Mist Survey - 100 Ryo Mist Spa - 150 Ryo Mist Docs - 250 Ryo Mist Spy - 250 Ryo EXTRA: As an MMPF Officer, If you spot a Chunin+ taking bribes, you can call them out on it and force them to split the bribe ! Keep in mind that this payment only guarantees safety inside of mist territory. Once you take the boat back to Asoki, it's fair game. If there is any scam committed by a mist player, please provide sufficient proof and you will be refunded by the mist treasury after investigation. This 'player driven' content feature serves multiple purposes. 1. It guarantees players who just want to complete a mist mission the access to do so, for a ryo fee. 2. Bribes are documented and split with the player and the treasury. It offers a reliable source of income to the mist treasury, which will be used to fund rewards for events (internal to mist AND external to mist) 3. It offers a more fun RP feature for the mist police force. Enjoy using this new feature to complete those long and risky missions!

  7. Solid suggestion. The idea is we all build our own ninja but realistically the choice is between tank or glass cannon/high heals, with tank usually being the right answer. Once you know an opponent's masteries you more or less know what to expect; Advanced wouldn't have solved this. More common jutsus is a great idea. If one of the problems with Advanced was that it was just variants of existing jutsu, then maybe add skill trees where you can morph jutsu down given paths. Passives can be hit or miss, but they for sure add to the variety. Add Clan abilities on top of those (like this suggestion by Kaen https://www.ninonline.org/forum/forums/index/topic/30439-some-ideas-for-clan-abilities/#comment-137982) and now there's a really good chance that no two ninja are the same, even if their masteries are. Of course the problem with all of this is that it has the same development issues that Advanced had. It's still important to mention because creating your own character is central to the MMO experience. When the Dev team has the capacity to handle the added workload it creates, changes like should be at the top of the to-do list.

  8. I think priority number one is finding ways to improve the quality of PvP encounters, since it's already the main 'end-game' experience. My favorite suggestions that people have already made are: farming war zones that give consistently high ryo/hour, adding multiple paths in and around DZ maps and setting up some kind of organized arena/leaderboard. Aside from that, Nin could really benefit from some of the standard MMO mechanics. Crafting, gathering and player-owned housing are already confirmed (I think) and will go a long way. The big one in my mind is Achievements, like Lightheory said. Achievements for farming different mob types, player kills, RP missions hosted, boss kills, etc. The rewards can be cosmetics, titles, house trophies or even more tangible benefits like 'hidden' farming zone unlocks similar to the Snake/Big Scarab caves. Paired with some kind of crafting or gathering system, it'll create a whole new way to play the game. Grinding in Nin right now is high boredom/low reward, and still people do it. This is an easy way to hook the sub-section of MMO players that enjoy the grind, as long as it makes them stand out and feel rewarded.

  9. It doesnt look as good for Elo to be based on masteries used since they can be changed at any time to not be meta as they are now. If tai/med suddenly gets changed into being teamfight mastery are you gonna be rebalancing "elo" gains when every small balance update comes out and suddenly its busted 1v1, who decides these things? Sounds stupid in bigger picture. - I feel like world is very small overall and feels closed. It's really easy to block maps without there being any other way even if it would be longer one. You are Leafie and some group camps mini with people in your village being offline? Good luck playing, theres no way around mini, other than just wait. - Mentioned character progression is another thing, we hit 60 and now what? You finally got out of 3 daily mission hell cycle and now you can... Okay you can go out and pvp, farm bandit drops or try gaining some rank in village (if you didn't already pre 60). Achievements would be nice, with some rewards from different chakra charging color, titles, some cosmetic items to changing visuals of your summon. - Might be just me, but I found bandits Bandits, Manda or even Spider boss discouraging to do. Farming for hours without any drop makes me want to stop and do something that makes me go forward in any way over killing bandit with no mechanics whatsoever that doesnt drop anything for hours. Giving them (not only bandits but bosses overall) at least 100 ryo on death would be step in good direction in making player feel he gains at least something over just losing time. Tldr.: World is very small closed, no character progression (other than village ranks), doing "endgame" content aka farming bandits or tower in LoI feels discouraging

  10. Character progression is what will motivate players to get out in the field and actually do stuff. Most players do dailies and log out, hit level cap and wait for chances to prove themselves in exams or tournaments, or by being accepted into official organizations (and gaining power just for being invited?) Basically, players need a reason to improve their character in some type of way. The game already has this type of content with bosses dropping weapons, mostly for weapon masters and other weapon using masteries. Charms are another example of character progression although done in an RNG one and done way. Adding more bosses with insane difficulty and a 0.1% chance of dropping whatever you're trying to get is just unfun gameplay. It can work for cosmetics but when it comes to boosting a characters combat ability, eh.. Poison Kunai and Blood Katana/Tonfas are extremely good examples of the type of content that takes a considerable amount of effort but you can also see your progress in attaining your goal. These items require you to spend time in multiple different areas acquiring items to construct what you want. Give us a reason to move from place to place and face whatever variables (players, mobs, armies?!, etc.) This concept can be applied to many different types of gear as well, it doesn't only have to be swords. One example is maybe using iron from the land of iron to craft a set of shurikens/kunais/senbons that have higher base damages than the basic ones sold in any shop. It would require players to continually put effort in gathering the materials since tools are something that needs replenished. The benefit doesn't have to be this but you get the idea. Use your imagination to create something worth getting for most people. Forbidden Jutsus, weapons with unique uses, consumables similar to honey, clothing and a transmog system like @Light suggested. The possibilities are endless really.
