The support system has become overwhelmed with name change requests, with players using the name changes support system to change names multiple times, or making name changes without gold/silver ninja, instead of it's original purpose to free inactive usernames. We seek your understanding about this change, and hope to streamline the system for name changes in the future. We've also noticed a huge spike in people trying to reserve names by creating lots of accounts and occupying sought-after names. As such, the system for the time being to free inactive usernames is now only usable by Gold Ninja, and is exclusively a way to free inactive usernames. We will not rename your account to that name. We've also increased the price of taking such inactive usernames to 5 dollars, at least for the time being. We hope this will reduce the amount of requests, until we can improve our support system. These changes will be active as of all support tickets created from 5/27/2021 onwards.7 points

As a lot of other cash shop items have different colours it would be cool if Summoning robe had different colours for example: They could either be in the cash shop as well or maybe added as event coupon rewards or boss drops.4 points

Since it's been a while since my little ratkage has been added i wanted to refresh the idea of the next demi boss in rory's head. I am there present you as the image shown below another demi boss - too make it possible for players lvl 30 + too join enter the crevice in the wall (becomes visible after hitting lvl 30 ). I already have a drop in mind that is being comissioned at this moment and wanted to have it belong to something special instead of just adding it onto another NPCs Drop table, have them work for it! (can comission a NPC aswell if possible that fits with the drop i have in mind for this boss). Ofcourse this lair is filled with just not a new boss but also with stronger version and very toxic version of the big scarab protecting our demi boss friend.4 points

As we all know, nin is a game which relies heavily on ping and many of us have ping more than 120, as a result, we are unable to land pillars on Canadians or other low ping users after we hit chidori, making the jutsu almost useless. I would suggest that we decrease the cast by 0.2 seconds of pillars so it's a guarantee hit after chidori. Some of you may argue that it makes pillars too OP since u wont be able to flicker to dodge it but hey, u can not flicker pillars of 10-30 ping players as well. I believe this would make the game a bit more fair as everyone will be able to hit pillars. And I personally don't see any drawbacks about this idea. Feel free to share your thoughts though.3 points

The Raid system is working really well. It has brought somewhat of a goal, when establishing dominance over other villages. But since raiding is becoming more frequent, there is a group of people complaining about "zerging". I get it, it's not fun encountering a group of ten people, and feeling powerless to do anything. But I don't think we should regulate how people play the game by restricting them. An example of this is by making zones "war zone", and increasing the chance of friendly fire. I see this as negative. Instead I think we should encourage people to enter DZ more. How do we do this? Treasure Hunting and Counter Hunting! I propose a system which randomly spawns 10 "Mysterious Boxes" every 2 hours in 10 random Danger Zones. This box should have around 5-10k HP, and can be destroyed by damaging it. When it breaks, it will drop 500 ryo, which the treasure hunter can pick up. It might even contain a rare drop sometimes. Why do I think this is a good idea? People are encouraged to play for different reasons. I believe this suggestion would add an incentive for people to go into Danger Zones in hopes of finding some of these boxes. You might get lucky, and find a box somewhere isolated! Or so you think... Because it would also allow hunting groups to keep watch of some of these boxes as bait, and therefore also countering boring map switch camping. Avoiding abuse Commanding your summon to take out the box shouldn't be possible, else you would be able to just AFK in a corner and let your summon take it out, and log out if anyone enters the map. Therefore summons shouldn't be able to damage the box. The box should also never spawn in locked locations but randomly thoughout the game world. Won't this inflate the economy? Say a box spawns behind a tree in a random map. No one is going to find it. This will most likely limit the actual boxes that is found, and limit the amount of ryo that enters the economy.3 points

Just making a post here because YouTube recommended me our own Nin Online soundtrack. I've been reminded recently of the amount of money spent to create original music in the early development days, when the game was burning through my savings and freelance earnings. When I had to survive on bread and milk and instant noodles for months on end because I had nothing left for myself and I don't come from a wealthy family. Every cent donated throughout the development period was also given to freelancers and others to draw art, make music, code and to draw promotional artwork that we still use till today. In the last week I streamed playing games made by others that had stolen Nin Online's original Art and UI. It really got me thinking, why go through all the work of actually being the one to create things when others just out right steal what you've invested your time and money into. I don't really talk about the struggles of development in 2013 leading up till beta because I usually can reason with myself that those sacrifices were necessary. But when people show me otherwise, that they can make money off my work without repercussion, I start to doubt myself and regret putting myself through so much hardship. But then I was serenaded by Sand Canyons by @Afilion The hopeful tune really gave me the lift out of the dumps that I needed. The reason why I couldn't copy someone else's work in 2013, as an 18 year old kid was because there was nobody to copy. There was no game like Nin Online yet. The community here is great, I can tell everyone appreciates the efforts put in by everyone who has played a part in making Nin Online. When I asked on Discord for people to help bring attention to the fact a game a youtuber had made a video on had stolen art from us, everyone came together to attempt to help. It might or might not pay off and Nin Online might get the attention that game garnered off our team's work. But at the end of the day, I'm just glad we have a supportive community of players who just want to play a good nar Ninja game. Anyway, this is not really a dev log, more like a rant. There's so much happening and coming for Nin Online that I'm honestly so excited. Hope everyone's been doing well in this pandemic!1 point

My fellow Ninjas, the time of peace is upon us.. and I hate it. Villagers walking around their village without a care in the world, sand ninja are getting a year long tan at their GD. Leaf ninja are having picnics at their local square. Mist ninja can't see through the fog so they sit still at indoor market. WHATS THIS?! The Akatsuki leader has made a move!? @Lumy has come out of cave and seeks blood... who's blood? WHY LEAF OF COURSE! Hokage @Esty has called upon the legendary 12 guardians to protect the village and most importantly, their peace. But unfortunately, they haven't had much training and have grown weak. The Akatsuki break down the village gates and start massacring the villagers... On the eve of the lunar moon, the hidden leaf were attacked by the Akatsuki, Hokage Esty stood to protect them with the 12G's, but they can only take so much...Will they be saved? Or will the enemy villages witness the destruction of leaf?! For the next 2 days, L1/L2/TG/Wolves/Leaf GD are all danger zones! Leaf ninjas who kill enemies in these maps will receive DOUBLE bounty, enemy ninjas who kill leaf or other ninjas receive the normal amount of bounty. (Will rotate villages every week). ps - Change the rewards as you see fit just make sure there are incentives in place. (Coupons, exclusive items, loot boxes, higher drop rate, more exp) @Ueda @Erox The benefit of this event to take place is a huge one, players will actively start fighting as there are incentives in place. It'll be a fun RP event, a sort of building up to the war event later this month or next month. And I for one would love to see the effects of changing safe zones into danger zones. Right now, the danger zones are completely empty, for the majority of the time players just hide in safe zones and fight there as they lose nothing and it's killing the activity of the game. cutter into pillar is a huge gamble it's far from being 100% hitrate lmfaooo. CC chain that strong should not be guaranteed in any case there's a slight window after being hit by cutter u can flicker/sub/cancel pillars it works for eu players aswell unless u have like 200~300 ping cutter->pillars isn't guaranteed to hit you Casting pillars right after cutter leaves you vulnerable it's either your opponent will flicker/sub out of it and since you will be self stunned you will be left open -- Or it works and u can unload ur sht Making pillars 1.8 sec would be insane, it guarantees pillar to hit after cutter leaving no counter play or ways to avoid it. IT wouldn't be a gamble anymore it would be straight up broken think about it for a sec its like buffing cutter stun to 6 secs1 point

The game has plenty of ping imbalances that we can do nothing about, and don't complain about. This case is different. An entire mastery's central combo not working for players is too big of an issue to overlook. Any high ping player has at minimum 20% less damage output because of it, for an issue that shouldn't exist at all. We're not asking for big changes to combat so that ping plays less of a role, there's a whole bunch of shit we can't do because of ping and we'll live with it, but a mastery shouldn't be ping-locked. Tell me I'm being unreasonable to suggest that. If not a reduction in cast time, then a change to Cutter to be 2.2s. I challenge anyone to make a case for why Lightning is too strong to be given a 0.2 second stun increase.1 point

Hitting Lightning Cutter is as hard as ever since the new client came out, people are faster and are easily able to outrun the jutsu, and on top of that when you do hit cutter there's a moment where you're casting pillars when someone can either: Sub, Flicker, or cancel it completely with a bubble/fan melee. Lightning as a kit needs anything it can get right now, and decreasing the cast time of pillars by 0.2s shouldn't be a problem. +11 point

Hello! I just made this pixel inspired by Naruto's and Hinata's wedding. I think adding them to the cash shop could open a lot of possibilites for RP weddings. They were pretty easy to made since the male one is a recolored kage robe and the female one is a modified and recolored snake inner kimono. Based off1 point

harrasing lowbies who can defend themselfs is not something that need to be strived .Most villages dont care or dont bother to defend lowbies anymore so giving high lv players more of a reason to kill them is dumb. Also who will defend there lowbies for 3 days or 2 day straight without a break(the answer is nobody). the rotation part doesnt matter much . grinding and lack of story wont get better if you spam kill the lowbies .if you wanna save the dz and the kills simple start solo hunting and stop hiding in groups.ppl will camp th next sz map anyway they wont charge the dzs unless they get double the numbers so you would be stuck in tg w8 for leaf 30 mins to gather or sand scorpions or mist larva nobody want that but it will happen ppl wont go to dz unless they are sure they can push or win.1 point
