Hi there, been a while since I've posted. I'm genuinely curious as to what the player-base is more interested in when it comes to updates. For the sake of assisting staff with content releases (Should they choose to acknowledge what is suggested in this forum post), I have limited the "Preffered content update" to one item. However, with the second question I have left it as a multiple choice to help narrow down what players are and are not interested in. Please remain respectful in your replies. I, as a player of many years, would love for staff themselves to ask players directly what they want to see. I'm not throwing any kind of shade; I'm simply saying that I would feel much more engaged in the future of Nin Online if staff would make similar discussion topics. That said, this is not a staff post. It's a post by a regular player who is interested in the opinions of my fellow gamers. Personally, I would like to see less cosmetic updates and would like to see more updates and changes to official orgs. I'll leave that reasoning to another post perhaps. Take note that I am NOT including updates to the client itself in this list. This post is assuming that the client update is the primary focus of the staff team as of April of 2021 and instead focuses on the other aspects of Nin Online's development process both as a side note of the new client and what comes afterwards. Besides being a nice cancel, Current isn't in a great spot, and many just skip it altogether to save room for other jutsus. It's especially off-putting that it has a 60 INT req, which means people playing dual builds (wm/light, wm/tai) would have to sacrifice a ton of STR/AGI to have 60 INT, and this jutsu just does not live up to that requirement. While on the topic of lightning, it's also interesting how the new client is itself a lowkey nerf to Cutter. Cause with the new client being better and all, everyone has been given like a 10%+ movement speed buff as a result of increased fps, and it has lowkey made Cutter slightly harder to land. Someone could be adjacent to you when you start the cast, and they will outrun the Cutter by the time the cast is done.2 points

Renamed Arms Bandages to Double Arm Bandages Since that's what everyone called it anyway. It was a little confusing since the only difference in it's name from Arm Bandages was one additional "s". Made Dark Clearing map less dark. Adjusted map overlays for better compatibility for Nin Online Inochi.1 point

Raid reworks Raids now happen in cycles of 4 hours instead of 2 hours. Raid points will disable after 2 hours into the raid cycle. This is so there is time to rest and there is time to enjoy the bonuses you've earned from the raid. Each village has an additional 2 raid points at their guarding locations. This means that each village now has a potential upside of 21% bonus. The downside limit of 5% remains, you cannot lose more than 5% bonus rate.1 point

Rebalanced Sensory Technique Please don't blame players asking for the nerf for this change. I've already been thinking of rebalancing for ages, it's just now that it became a prominent discussion topic, and it was a good time to do it. Cooldown time changed from 17/16/15 to 30/29/29 Cast time changed from 1/1/0 to 1/1/1 Range changed from 12/16/20 to 12/12/16 It may be clear from the old progression for each rank that it followed an older balance style where each rank had significant improvements on all areas. Sensory Technique had not been rebalanced with any of the major rebalances since beta stage which is why it was so powerful.1 point

Changed Chakra Points cost of summoning Ninken and Snake to the same as other summons at later ranks. Removed Dodgeball Event NPCs as they are no longer necessary and were being abused to escape fights. Removed Knockback from Crystal Fan basic attack. Improved AFK/Botting Check on Tanzaku Slots to first explain the situation before asking question. Fixed bug that allowed for Ieyasu to spawn outside of his bounds. Fixed visual mapping bug on Striped lake. Fixed a missing collision block on "The Forest Exit" map that allowed for tiger mob to spawn out of bounds. Fixed mapping bugs on bottom left of Mist village, including one that allowed for players to wrongfully enter Mist village academy. Fixed broken Mist village Chunin Exam arena entrance allowing non-Mist ninja to enter. Fixed Mist RP Mission NPC information dialogue saying "find 2 other leaf village ninja".1 point

Fixed a recent vulnerability that allowed for speed hacking. Fixed player directions, in the past when you melee attacked, it would turn your character on the server but not on the client. This would cause an issue where your character is visually not facing where it actually was, this would result in your jutsu being fired in the a different direction from where your character was facing. Village Raiding Point System In each village there's 5 raid points. As a ninja of your village, your goal is to protect these 5 raid points, as well as to destroy enemy ninja village's. These points are spread out around each village. For the time being these Raid points to defend/attack look like Scarecrow targets (Temporarily!) When you destroy an enemy village's raid point, your village gets a +1% XP/Drop Rate boost for the current 2 hour interval. In total, every village has 5, so the highest you could theoretically go is +15% boosts. You also lose 1% for every raid point you lose, but with a maximum of -5%. Type "/raids" or "/raid" in-game to see your current interval bonuses and next reset! Also, the server will automatically announce when it's 15 minutes to the next reset so everyone can prepare. Medical Ninjutsu Mystical Palm Jutsu revives continue to scale with Chakra stat to restore more starting HP of the user whom you revive, while Will of Fire will no longer restore more HP when you revive yourself. Mystical Palm Jutsu also now restores an equivalent amount of CP as HP when you successfully revive a user. Will of Fire also now restores 10% of it's Leaf Ninja user's maximum CP when triggered. Slight damage and stat buff to Old Grandfather's Muramasa Reduced sell price for Old Grandfather's Muramasa Killing Mobs with Summons will now count towards XP and Kill counter for missions. Raiding system kinks fixed including Missing Ninja being able to attack their own raid points. Bug where mobs were becoming unkillable is fixed. Fixed Summons not being able to use damage over time on other NPCs and vice versa. Damage Over Time jutsu on NPCs clear when the caster leaves the map now. Fixed NPC projectile jutsu animations passing through enemies it attacks even though it doesn't pierce.1 point
