Dear Ninja, We've come down hard on language in the past few months, I want to take a moment to remind you all what our stance is on language and a few things that will get you in trouble along with what we wont be doing anymore. 4. Abusive Behavior - Do not use use offensive language or slurs (includes race, religion, gender, etc.). If you are reported by somebody who takes offense, you may be given warning points depending on severity. This is not to be mistaken with using swear words within a roleplay context. Eg. "Fuck the Leaf, I'm going to kill them all!" It is not an excuse to say your in-character RP character is a guy who PMs him victims and calls them a little bitch etc. In the same way it is not an excuse to say your in-character RP character is a guy who abuses exploits and uses hacks and 3rd party programs or your in-character RP character is somebody who has the power to automate his training by turning off his mind through bots. Eg. of an out-of-character insult "bitch nigga fml your mom" Eg. of an In-character insult "You fight like a bitch" I don't think anyone takes offence to words as heavy as this community, that being said we will NOT be accepting reports regarding one worded insults unless felt necessary. One worded insults like "You're a Dog, Pussy, You're Shit, Bitch, ETC..." will be considered low toxicity until they're met with further insults of the same kind or nature. Insults like "Kys" or insults/threats to irl situations are and will always be punishable by Bans, Perm Bans and IP Bans. In other games we've all been on both sides and its all fun and banter but you have to remember this is a community and we expect you to follow our Guidelines, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of which you agreed to upon creating your account. As always thank you for reporting in general, it does help keep our community working and growing with each wave of new players. We want you to have your own unique experiences playing NinOnline, but we dont want you to do so at the expense of another players experience. Past reports until now will remain, this stance takes place here and hereafter today, 03/31/2021 Thank you for your time! Erox2 points

I think the scaling of Bubble Mastery needs a rework. The mastery has hard to land jutsu and is incredibly slow. I do not think that the fact it has a lot of snares justifies how low the damage of the mastery is since Lightning has a lot of stuns and does among the highest damage out of elements. I do not see this mastery becoming a viable one to play unless the scaling changes. Other weapon based masteries increase their power by getting stronger weapons but Bubble jutsu damage is independent from it's weapon. It is a shame that this mastery is in the state it is right now cause it is a fun mastery to play but it is just really discouraging to play when the damage it does is simply too low to compete against anything and even a player you would easily kill on some mediocre mastery becomes a drag to fight.2 points

Drusilla has gotten to lv 50+ and resetted 3+ times. In fact, those who never hit 50 are in the small minority. My point is, in-case you didn't get it, is that no one is trying to benefit themselves by screwing over other people's gameplay since we already went through all the missions, dealing with (good and bad) RNG tenfold. No offense, I am tired of toxic people shooting down ideas over bs excuses. If you have a counter point make one instead of targeting individuals. Thank you.2 points

Any reason why theres no feature where we could see our nin credits in in-game inventory next to ryo so we could trade it for stuff? Why only through gift cards on this site? Would prevent completing a trade with one side of the trade empty/getting scammed. See image below (Sorry for crappy edited image). Thanks for answers2 points

I agree with Drusilla on the initial idea of dailies having to be reworked in order to make the game more enjoyable. However letting the player reroll their dailies is something which heavily collides with the RP, since it's usually the Kage who assigns missions to ninjas or teams through the Mission desk. It would make little to no sense for someone to reject a mission, take for example how Shikamaru always complains about the tasks assigned to him being a drag, or Naruto fuming about them not being challenging enough but they do them anyway because: 1. They were issued by the Hokage and as a subordinate one doesn't have much choice and 2. missions are a part of "shinobi life" and have to be completed no matter what. This being said, what I suggest is: In order to keep the RP alive and cater to the needs of the community players should be given a set of 3 missions each time they want to do a daily, which of course would all be suited to the respective lvl. of the player in question. Ninja would get to choose one of these missions depending on what suits them best at that moment (e.g. this would provide 2 more options next to sand docs in case the village GD is packed with people) in order to minimalize abandoning and loss of xp.2 points

Aight so look....I've been wanting to play on the new client but I just can't bring myself to do it, now why you may ask? Cause the pink color on the new client.....it looks so dull....so lifeless, it truly takes away the fun for me. I just can't bring myself to look at that...thing. All I ask of you almighty great lord Ueda is to bring back the old, vibrant and beautiful pink. I cant match any outfits, or use it as a contrast, its all useless now. It may not be much. or something thats high on the to-do list. But for me its the sole reason I play nin and it'd be cool if it were to be brought back.1 point

As we all know dailies is a huge factor when it comes to nin online , as these are main source of exp to lvl up. For years dailies has been a topic for discussion of how it should be reworked and changed. I am writing this post to enlighten rory and give suggestion to how not just me but to the many other players feel about daily missions. 1. Dailies resets after 24hours/ 12:24 pm est 2. Can only get 3 dailies per day 3. Those 3 dailies are completely! I repeat COMPLETLY rng 4. Dailies cannot be re rolled so what ever mission you get you have to do Questions of the community: Why cant the players choose which daily they want? why only 3 dailies a day? why only 3 missions?? what do we do after finish our 3 missions? Discussion: Its 2021 and i truly belive its time for dallies to be changed/revamped improved. The game gets really boring after you complete dailies because they isn't really nothing else to do but take some raid points or farm for drops and pray you get anything. I suggest that dailies reset 3 times a day, Morning , Noon and Night can do what ever time you think is right or at least 2 times a day but this 1 day for 3 dailies which we have no control over needs to be changed. Even if you dont want to do that suggestion at least let us be able to choose our dailies, sometimes as a lvl 47.50 heck eve lvl 55 players be getting 3 spa missions and that just crazy to me. IF we are able to do more dailies the game will be a lot more active because the truth is most people just do dailies and log off until it resets and just play on alts or something to be entertained. By doing this the game will be a lot more engaging and lively. with this said i hope you take this post to consideration at least and i do hope in the future dailies can be changed for the better.1 point

Yeah, that would be the gist of it. Thanks for the idea regarding the U.I., I'll definitely check out if there's a possibility to do that. It would definitely help when filming outside of secluded maps like clan houses.1 point

Not bad at all. Needs more story, but all good things come with practice. There was a way to hide the U.I. too, but I forgot how to do it (or if it is still in the game). You should definitely put it into practice though to give it more realism.1 point

Got hype with the beginning editing, I'm not sure what I just watched but cool idea I guess. Some sort of Nin online machinima?1 point

I don't think this is a feature to add to the game. A lot of people like Swords, Cocco, Bray have been scamming recently and it would assist them in there scanning by making it easier and that's something we as a community want to avoid.1 point

I don't want to legitimize it. We don't want Nin to be a game where you can load your account with money and trade it for in-game items. People will still try to do it, and all we can do is discourage it.1 point

I'll be honest, I wouldn't take advice from someone who 1) Hasn't made an MMORGP and only played them for "20 years" 2) who can't even make an interesting video that grasps someone's attention for more than 2 minutes. 3) There's a reason that so many of the MMO's that he's listed don't have more than 1 million active subscribers. 4) Some of the MMO's he listed barely even have a 6/10 on Steam. It's pretty clear that majority of his preference is based on older MMO's because, clearly they have "not gotten better" because "modern MMORPG's SUCK" regardless of sales numbers showing the opposite of this claim. Let's not forget this guy has played MMO's since they were first released. In 20 years he only has an opinion on what he likes about old MMORPG's and how to fix them (make them sell less) That's what this game was based on as well. Which is why it's hard to get behind a MMO in 2021 when it's inspired by 2005 MMO's. I also played MMO's a lot in my childhood, and the reasons this guy details as "improvements" are the exact reasons I quit them for a good 10 years before getting into this one. Which one of us is correct? Well there's a reason the MMO's that I like sell well.1 point

In my opinion, to come up with better missions there needs to be a story in place for Nin. It seems to me that Rory does not want to commit to an overarching story and wants to leave it into the player hands who in return can't do much in their position. There is definitely a conflict here that needs to be resolved. I personally would rather Rory just commit to an overarching story, but another solution would be making a story based off of the past in-game Kage's personality. Examples of this: (I.e. 1st Hokage was drunk -> lots of bars in Leaf -> bartenders missions for ingredients for brewery-> killing rats | 2nd Hokage was creepy -> underground sewers entrance -> animal parts -> collect poison -> assassinations | 3rd Hokage was obsessed with water -> fountains + pools installed in Leaf -> collect coins at the bottom of the fountain -> find hidden mechanism -> get food for secret sea animal) These personalities/behaviors/actions of the Kage will give the tools needed to shape the respected villages, stories, and missions making Nin Online the most unique game. Besides my discussion of having a story to fuel new and innovative missions, there should definitely be a better progression system than what we currently have. Old missions that do not format with your new level should be removed. Spa in general should have a better progression, and renamed to relaxation. I suggest: Spa I -> hotsprings, Spa II -> (Leaf|Tanzaku bar. Sand|Outside Blood Puppets Area, Mist| Small village right of port). Spa III -> Other villages Spa 2s spots, Spa IV -> Other villages Spa I spots. Of course with new locations, new relaxation spots can appear. Guard Duty should have progression too, leaving hot spots for higher levels and less of a hot spot for lower levels. I suggest: GD 1 -> Aviary, GD 2-> Doc room, GD 3-> GD maps/around raid points, GD 4-> Lowbie training areas Finally, I would like to say I agree with Drusilla that 3 dailies that are selected for you can be a drag. I think it is completely doable to widen the variety of missions you can pick and do. Yes, there has to be more missions added in and yes, the experience for each has to be modified, but it would make the game really fun.1 point

Thanks for the good feedback and discussion A lot of people have sort of the right idea on why the game isn't as easy to get into, and how that's by design. I don't like giving it as an excuse, but I will say that the ability to affect someone else's experience is one of the key defining advantages an online game can provide to a player over a single player experience, and that's something that's sorely missing when it comes to most MMORPGs. So it's not something I wish to change. I try not to have anything that encourages harming a new player's early experience, like limiting what counts as a mission kill and not rewarding bounties etc. but I think the ideal behind why it's still possible (even though not incentivized) is that player freedom is just fun. Someone brought up the concept of a theme park MMORPG experience, which is where you're strictly on a rail and you can't go off the rail/course too far before the game design nudges you back into what you can do/be in the game. I think the niche, small community game benefits from there being this freedom for someone to do something annoying to another player if he so chooses, because it allows for player expression. Whereas a more conventional "theme park" experience would put a hard "You cannot kill a player under level 10" in your face when you try. It's a trade-off, on one hand you're able to be who you want to be, even if that disrupts a new player's experience. On the other hand, it creates a new dynamic where taking care of your own becomes more important and factions, teams and grouping up becomes highly valuable. Someone also mentioned that things have gotten easier over the years, and yeah that's pretty true because of lots of new ways to gain experience. Over time I do intend to add more story arcs like the Level 30 and level 50 arcs for the lower level ranges. But it's a bit of a daunting task at the moment. But giving lower levels some content like that where they are partially removed from the open world where they get brutally slayed by high level players is part of the design, but it'll take some time.1 point

Depends what village you are from, my advice would be to reset to sand village. I'll explain why: Leaf village You will be suspected as an alt: there are multiple freaks who are paranoid in leaf and will just not let you enjoy the game the way it should be enjoyed (trust me, I started in leaf and had this treatment). It will ruin your gameplay Everyone hates leaf: your missions will be 10x harder alone, because every village will kill any leafie on sight, even on BI Mist village Village is not as active as it needs to be to enjoy the game as a lowbie The grinding spots are absolutely terrible; not only are they extremely far from the village, they are also in DZ in which players will hunt you The boat is just insane, you spend x2 the amount of time another village would for a mission Why you should go sand village Grinding spots are by far the best in the game inside sand village Village is very safe (you have to pass through the village gate to get to the lowbie spots) and most of them are safezone1 point

The solution to this is directing missions for lower leveled players closer to their village, adding new missions, fixing exp amount for each mission, and adding new mobs with levels in-between those already there. Once you are around lv 35 and have all your jutsus, then you should be traveling to other places. ^ Also, I 100% agree with this. There are missions that everyone just abandons every time. Look at blood puppets or medical supplies. Medical supplies in particular, for the amount of time you spend collecting the materials you will get less exp. This is saying even if you already did your 3 dailies, you will receive better experience hunting people for bounty xp. It is only beneficial if you are rich and pay for the supplies saving you the time.1 point

I can understand it is a different kind of beast of a game and I am 100% up for a challenging experience and getting involved in some open world pvp. I actually like this part of the game a lot. Was just making suggestion for players that can't really play the game when a village is being attack or there isn't anyone on to stop them from being camped when they are barely 10 or higher. I think adding more quest would help with the grind but more importantly fit the theme of naruto too which this game draws it inspiration from. But if these ideas just make people upset for even making a suggestion I am sorry I even said anything. I didn't think I would be attacked for trying to help keep players to make the game grow which I thought all people who enjoy the game would want. Unless you don't want players that cant cut it which is fair if it your opinion.1 point

That's all cool and everything but it isnt necessary to @ Ueda for a reason like that. He could be looking at your @ when he could've been looking at something else like a support ticket about something very serious and important.0 points

I disagree, your just mad you have bad RnG when it comes to getting dailies so you want the whole system to be revamped to assist you unlucky gameplay.0 points
