I just wanted to have a discussion about this a bit Not too sure if i'm one of the only people who preferred RP Clans only due to the fact that it kind of defeats the purpose of RP having selective clans it kind of feels as if we're forced to choose a clan we don't want to be in or just be clanless before there was many different kind of clans due to RP and it was kind of a cool thing to see but now that's pretty much dead I feel as if there should be more clans in the game or the clan system could be tweaked a bit by letting players create their own clan with 10k ryo maybe? 5k? it's as you said before @Ueda Clans is like a family a big part of RP but it feels so limited due to it being a few selective clans i know it hasn't been long since the clan system has been out but this is just my opinion in no way shape or form am i saying rory did a bad job with the way he did the Clan system i am just simply saying that it could be better for players who would like to start their own thing maybe a brand new friend group decides to start the game together and they decide to start a clan they can't do that they'll either have to choose a clan made by some body else or stay clanless which defeats the purpose of RP to me it'd be amazing to see new clans again maybe have their own clan clothes i do how ever understand that there's clan houses and maybe some day it'll fill up the map which is understandable but this can be avoided by either expanding maps which i know will take forever but you could make 3 different maps for each leaf sand and takaumi which will be where all clan houses are located at there's a lot of ideas that can come from a clan that would be great to see again just a suggestion and my honest opinion.

  3. I have been playing ninonline the last couple of days and thought some perspective of how the game is for a new player may help this game grow in the future. I would like to point out I understand that the game is still being developed and isn't finished but I still would like to help improve it and point out the pros and cons. I also don't know everything about the game yet only from what I have seen and what helpful players info have shared with me. First I would like to start with the pros of the game. The aesthetics of naruto and the ninja world has always in my opinion been a fantastic setting for a mmorpg so to see the concept come into light in such a well designed way is amazing. I have played a similar style naruto game on byond, if you can remember that throwback, which wasn't this well polished with combat and customization. Having unique clans instead of reusing the current ones opens up a lot of unique abilities that I am looking forward too. The tutorial was very well done, that wasn't too long and did a good job introducing you to the simple mechanics of the game. The sprites and graphics are beyond amazing, especially the scenery and jutsu that just blow me away every time I see them in action. The combat is enjoyable and very responsive for the most part and doesn't get boring for a 2d game like this. Now for the Cons. Although the games combat is fun the variety of leveling options is very limited making the only way of endlessly murdering mobs over and over feel VERY grindy. Only being able to do 3 daily missions makes your income of money very limited at the earlier levels which in turn just forces you to just continue to endless farm mobs to sell their drops or hope to obtain and sell blank scrolls which you need for jutsu early on. Also the trash mission for the mist village at least is HORRIBLE you could spend 30 mins running around and find nothing.(update on this. the garbage is hidden behind trees and buildings. Not sure if this is design but I found just swinging behind random stuff helps the mission go faster) I am not sure how the spawning works but for one of the early quest it is a huge time sink for a pretty unsatisfying reward. As for the biggest problem of the game in my opinion is pvp for new players. The number of times my party and I were grinding on mobs just to get suddenly attacked, killed and then camped has just made leveling in the game unplayable. It seems the only responses I get about this is "just suck it up" or "Welcome to ninonline" which in my opinion are very weak and sad reasons for the effort that went into this game. As for some suggestions I would make to improve these problems. As for the leveling I think having repeatable D-S rank missions that could give players direction as well as a better source of exp and income would make the grind a little easier. Having the daily missions be a bit more unique and rewarding would have them stand out from these rank missions. As for the pvp problem with the early players being killed. I think giving new player a grace period where they can't be harmed by other players that are higher than 3 levels up until say level 25 or 30(while in their own region) would give players time to adjust to the games combat as well as choose their paths/builds. Also the wounded debuff for being killed is waaaay to long for new players who aren't much of a threat to other but just extends the already intense grind. These solutions would make it so new players can enjoy the game without worry about being killed by a higher level player that makes it impossible to play the game. I have heard that these rogue ninja kill players because of their missions so maybe have it where if a player is well under their level they are not rewarded for killing them. I know that coding this might not be possible but these are just suggestions because I really do believe something needs to be done to aid new players. I have really enjoyed this game for the most part and see it having a lot of potential but I think the pvp and grind might turn off some players so hopefully they are addressed in the future. I know the game is still new and being developed but as where the game stands these are the problems I feel hold it back from being amazing. I hope no one takes this in a negative way, I just thought the perspective of a new player would be helpful for the future of the game. I am not here to argue with anyone because I do enjoy this game and I know every has their own opinions and way they think the game should be.

Hello Bois, as we all know there are three ways to leave your village: 1) Have your Kage exile you. 2) Have an MPF (Military Police Force) member jail you and escape from jail. 3) Kill someone from your own village in a DZ three times. My Idea I've always thought that you should have an option to go rogue on your own with out the use/assistance of others. Being able to destroy your headband is a great way to leave on your own and it could bring some fresh scenarios for RP. To avoid "Accidents" To try and prevent anyone from "accidentally" destroying their headband there can be a confirmation choice before destroying it. How pardoning works To return to the village the rogue simply has to get pardoned then either go for another headband and stay without one. People who dont have headbands wont be affected to begin with of course. Additions to the idea I dont think it's needed but a village message can also be added when someone goes rogue by destroying their headband. High level players kill new players below level 10 because that increases their kill count, I am not sure if that's a bug but will it be possible that both kills and bounty/kill count doesn't increase if you kill a new player that is of level 10 or below? @Ueda Other part about Mist village is the incomplete state it has been left in and even after a year there's less of a improvement in that area, all our grind zones are Danger Zones that are used by enemy ninjas to get easy kills off of us while the other two villages have most of their grinding areas as safe zones, in my honest of opinions, mist should've at least double the content of what sand has currently because just how far it is from the mainlands and if not for our tireless work trying to retain any new players we get, applying double the efforts, to only get 2-3 50s(that is already very lucky for us), Mist would've been even more quiet. I suggested long ago to @Uedato add more new maps in mist, we also need a proper war zone map like the other villages and special questlines using tatori as it's base that can help our new players interact more and love the village even more. Our in-game organizations also have incomplete bases and MMPF Jail jutsu is still bugged while the prison area is a safe zone instead of a No-Zone that can help the prisoners escape by subbing out.

  8. Can a feature be added so you must accept a friend request before you appear on someone's friend list. This is pretty much the only game i've ever seen where the friendlist is used for every purpose EXCEPT being friends with someone. Being able to scout when someone logs in just ruins the game and leads to more camping.

I think a great way to add RP to Nin Online would be adding this rank and title. +Add new Rank of "Citizen" to Leaf, Sand, Mist that ninja they can self-demote to. +Add title of Small Villager to missing. This can help people create more unique stories to their RP. I also believe missings should have spawn points at Asoki port and near Big Desert to match Leaf having one so close. Hospitals should have multiple exits instead of one. Thank you

  14. That's how this game is, if you can't handle the fact that life (and this game) are unfair then you're playing the wrong game. There are an excess of Theme Park MMO's that cater to "everybody enjoying the game with everyone else" this is not that type of game. If you want a game like that, go play FFXIV, WoW, Runescape, BDO or countless other MMO's. This game is for the few who want open world PVP with consequences. Where it's supposed to mean something when you finish missions, levelling up isn't meant to be easy. It takes 2 months for the average daily new player to get to level 50. It's not another dopamine producer, this isn't CoD. When people say welcome to Nin Online, it's because this is the kind of game we enjoy and we like it the way it is. People like you are the reason New World got delayed because it had open world PVP but people cried. People like you are the reason Fallout 76 is a terrible game. If you don't want Open World PVP don't play this game. BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Don't try and make this like every other shitty game because it's convenient for you. If you want to know more about Rory's ideas behind making Nin Online he shared this Video a while back about it.

  15. -I agree that the early lvls should be easier n the punishment for dying should be a little less. as it is right now most hight lvls kill lowbies for missions n i cant blame them because the missions they are doing is really annoying basically you have to kill 10-14 ninjas and that is very hard to do if you're not buying/begging people to let you kill them . I personally dnt kill lvl 1-10 because i know they're struggling n they wont count for my mission anyways. The creator of the game been working on making early lvls better by adding weapons for lowbies, side quests and sings around the villages. I think he has more planned for the future including changing the early lvling (1-10) so it's not an endless grind and not putting new players at the mercy of High lvls - Everyone here been through this they have been traumatized then transformed by the harass spread by others that's why they're a little harsh on you. - If you're planning on continuing the game make sure you do with you buddies the game is far more enjoyable w/ friends and this will keep you safe in some situations, most people avoid attacking a group. There are several lvling guides n posts to help new players on the forums try to find them they will help u a little.

I Some what agree to an extent as a player that's been here for a little over 4-5 years I'd say it's becoming alot easier in terms of levelling for example side missions for level 20-30 has been added recently and we have the toad arc story questline for 30+ and another side mission to for kraken Collecting raid points for your nation increases your drop rates and gives you extra xp which actually makes grinding for items a tad bit easier

Different passive I think there should be more than one village excusive passive which you can switch between by talking to an NPC which has a 24 hr cooldown this helps players get more flexibility on what kind of style they will like to play without asking for a buff for their passive. Rogue passive This also opens the idea for rogue passive which @Yamikami suggested so you can change your passive to rogue exclusive one if you like to but only able to use it as a rogue. Reason to make this post Passives are talked about a lot in the community some like there passive and some not one of the main reason for disliking their passive that it is good in a thing they don't want for example all leaf say that will of fire is weak but in reality, it's really strong in team fights just not good in 1v1 but some players want something more useful in 1v1 so they ask for a buff for WOF for something it's not supposed to be good at We already got 2-3 buff to of WOF and it's good at what it's supposed to.
