Whack When Nin Online was Nin Offline, I used to do Development Logs! This day I didn't feel like doing a log, so I just posted a screenshot. Whack announces the first open alpha announcement date! The server goes offline while we make some major improvements to the base engine, which didn't handle unexpectedly the large number of players who joined in the first alpha. 2nd Open Alpha is announced! The server is doing poorly still, constant crashes. Seth & David joins in the team! We resolve the major issues with the server and continue with alpha 2 days later. Picture of our early gold ninjas making history in here too. Alpha 2 closes on 27 October 2013 In November 2013, I enlist into compulsory military training for the next 2 years. Seth takes over in maintaining the game's development and a more comfortable pace while I march with a rifle and 20kg bagpack under the scorching sun. Around this time Abhi joins the team as a programmer! We also get Afillion on as our composer. I announce that we're really low on server funds so we do a fund raiser for in-exchange of paying the server fees, I work faster. We succeed in securing a few months worth of server fees with it, thanks to the names mentioned in the post. The goals are reached, so the alpha test dates are set to July 15th 2014! 1st Anniversary of celebratory post. Some missing images, but the prior history to Nin Online is told. Our game logo in it's current form is made in 2014 For the rest of 2014, I was mostly too busy with army to work on the game. But basically through the entire next 2 years we remained mostly online through the longest alpha test with something called the Final Alpha. In 2015, I started working on the sand village and we created the trailer we still use today Then in late 2015, my mandatory military service ended! In 2016 we redesigned the website to look like how in looks now We also held a fashion contest After 3 years we finally delivered the first rewards promised, Gold ninja forehead protectors! We held the first Chunin Exams and the 2nd! In late 2016, we make it snow in the Leaf village (because it's the only village in the game still).
