Role-Playing Events Guide

I was originaly waiting for Rory to tell me if i should post this or not,but since he didn`t answer me,i think that i will take the risk.

If i made any mistake or miss conception i beg an admin to editdelete my post...

I know you guys wanted an Admin to make a post like that...

But here is mine,so deal with it xD hope this helps...

All the RP events are controlled in the shadows by an Admin, meaning that they have to start it (Chunnin Examen) or the player who want`s to start it has to consult himself with an admin (Kage ambushing another Kage, Betraying the Kage and taking over his position with force, usually using more players to aid you, etc.)

You can not start a RP event as long as the Admin does not agree with your terms...

Why should i join a Role-Play event:

You will need to join a RP event mostly to get higher in rank (Chunnin Examen etc.) still, that does not mean you`re obliged to join,it`s just that you will remain a Genin forever and will not be able to unlock higher story line missions, and you will probably not be able to make a very big lvl. considering you mostly need missions to lvl. up.

What do i have to do while in a Role-Play event:

Act like your character, like you live what`s happening, for that, you will have to make your character bio on the forum (to do that just go to My profile > Edit my profile > Edit my about me page)

Now let`s give an example :

Jiraya Uchiha  : Bio -    History-Born in Konohagakure, his parents died at an early age and he actived sharingan (usual bio history...)

                                Clan - Uchiha

                                  Eyes, Height,Weight- Blah blah Blah

Personality -Jiraya Uchiha is a very mean person, swearing all the time,he loves Ramen and busty girls...

Now in game,Jiraya can still act as he wishes,he can be good, bad, he can be Batman for all i care.

But from the moment he joined a RP event he will the only and one Jiraya Uchiha, his parents died he swears a lot and he is mean with everyone...

Note* Please do not give your forum Bio,powers you do not have in game. Before most RP events an admin will probably take a look at the Bio of everyone who is in that respective event...

Perma-Deaths and the fights inside of a Role-Play event:

If you`re reading the whole post by now you should have probably understood that even inside a Role-Play event you don`t have to mime a fight with words (contrary to what some might think...) Anyways that is not what i wanted to speak about here.

Before joining any RP events you should be aware that there is a risk of perma-dying.Anyone who participate in a Event takes this risk, especially when he has a higher rank, like a Hokage, Kages have the biggest risk of perma-dying (that`s why there should always be a ninja or more to protect him)

What is Perma-Death:

Perma-Death comes from Permanent Death, every time you die inside of a Role-Playing event there is a slightly risk of perma-dying,even in Chunnin Examens...

Now, don`t get scared, the Perma-Death system is more of a Rebirth system, your character goes back to lvl. 1 and get`s a very small stat boost. There is no risk of perma-dying outside of a RP event.

Now,before i end this post (finally) i will give an example of an usual Role-Play event:

Everything happens with the accord of an Admin.

There is a war between Leaf and Suna, the Hokage a long with his guards are on their way to Suna to discuss a Peace Treaty with the Kazekage, without the Hokage knowing the Kazekage paid a clan of Mercenary Missing-Nins to assassinate the Hokage and his guards on the road to Suna.

Before the Hokage could realize all his guards were dead and he was surrounded by the Missing-Nins,after a long and bloody fight the Hokage was finally defeated, resulting in, Him and some of his guards to perma-die.

The Sand village can now attack  Leaf when they are in their weakest moment...

This is it, i know it`s long but some of it might be worth reading, tell me what you think about it...

Helpful but alot more needs to be added to this role playing topic.  For example, we need to go into more detail about permadeath and how a person should role play.  One thing I do want to point out is, you don't need to be a good role player.  Not everybody is experienced with it, but as long as you try you should be able to get by.  For permadeath, to hell with just a stat boost, we better be getting back all the stats that we had worked for before we died.  That means if all my stats are 50, I want those stats to remain at fifty when my legacy character comes to life.  People work way to hard in a game to reach their levels and I would be furious if I died and my new character got a "minor" boost.  That needs to be fixed right away, especially for people that payed money and supported the game.  I pay to support the creation of a game, I demand my legacy to be more powerful then my first.  Period.  Another thing I want to point out, there has to be a very very good reason for a person to die permanently.  Like in the Chunnin Exams, no way in hell should people be permanently dying from a C-Rank Jutsu.  Even in the Anime/Manga the only deaths that would truly happen were the results of an enemy attack by an S-Class Criminal(Orochimaru).  And even then not many lost their lives.

I understand that we want to make this game realistic in terms of the actual Naruto Universe, but I promise you if it is too difficult we are going to be losing Morality in the game.  Other then that I feel that things are great.  We just need to work around that Permadeath.  I don't want to hit level 60 with my stats at like 70 each and then just lose all that for something mediocre  and minor.

if that would be the case, there would be people abusing it...

"i want to be a hokage guard ^_^

(hum hum, i'm just gonna fight half-assed and get killed so i become an Academy Student with Jounin level stats)"
