There's bosses that have been out for months if not more than a year that have only dropped their item once, if at all. People farm months to get 1 or 2 drops of an item, level for months just to hit 60, grind for hours on end to amass wealth. Games with server wipes don't do that, they make it easy for people to acquire power and try new things because it'll be gone soon. Getting hit with a reset in Nin is a slap in the face.
