So I would need to learn visual basic to code in more things like pets for example?

 

Yes, I plan on adding an update soon that allows events to follow you like Pokemon, and later in version 1.3.0, I will try to add in pets. All these features will be brought to Nin Online, that's where a lot of the code came from in the first place. I joined Nin Online after this engine was made.

hmm I see. the only thing about the engine is that I feel the quest editor is to limited. Maybe if there could be a way we could write our own quests with the editor with less limits. I dont know if you understand what I mean. I see in your spoiler, you made it so the player is able to choose options when doing a quest but I cant figure out how to create those options.

The quest editor is the same one Nin Online uses, Brandon the programmer of it transferred the system over, but Nin Online's is a little more advanced, but we will be transferring these changes back to Eclipse Worlds soon.

Seth, stop advertising other games!

 

This is an engine. I posted this to help get people into game development, which could be a way of getting more active team members.

 

Guild system will be available when we have it for Nin Online. Although, it will not be the same as in Eclipse Worlds but the same framework.

No, a quest system is a generic system in games which is actually very stagnant. There's plenty of resources like an event system to make a story without having quests. It is planned for a later release, but I honestly hate quest system in MMOs. I think they are horrible.
